I have noticed that if I go to Veeam Backup and Replication and look at our SOBR’s Space Usage Graph under the Summary tab, it shows just one day (e.g. it shows just Sat 9x instead of different days). This happened when we upgraded to version 12.  Monthly Summary shows one set of datesWhat setting if any should I change? I have updated to the latest patch and still shows the same. Version 11 did not give me this issue.

I’m working on a server that someone else setup, so I don’t know much on it’s config sorry, but it’s Veeam backup & replication 12.I’m trying to restore an ad object, so i’ve found our AD server in the backup list, went to Application items and chose active directory.When it brings up our AD, I can find the deleted user, and when I choose to restore objects it asks for credentials to connect to: ad.mydomain.com.auI’ve tried all my credentials including the domain admin one, and it just keeps erroring with the message: The supplied credential is invalid.I’ve tried with just the username, with domain/username, with username@domain and it always shows credential is invalid.Any ideas?

Good morning, I’m new to veeam and my company would like to perform a health assessment on our existing veeam infrastructure. Unfortunately I’m learning veeam on production :) since our veeam engineer left the company.Do you have any consultants\companies that you can refer me to?  Again, our goal is to get an idea of our current backup infrastructure health\risks and get a recommendations of what needs to be reconfigured\improved\fixed.  thank you againSergey

Hi, My last 2 cases are not going smooth with the Veeam support.My first case was regarding this topic and I did finally solved it myself. Then I get respons with the question how I did solved it!My new case posted 1st of aug is still in status new. Is it really because of the holidays, or are there under-staffed? I know, the severity is low, as it is not urgent, but normally I get a respons faster.The question I did ask them:My Veeam server is on a seperated VLAN, other than my ESXi servers. My storage is DirectSAN accessible. Only If I use Instant Recovery or SureBackup, the NFS mount to backup repository (local storage on server) is going over the Firewall, and I want to prevent that. So I did create on my ESXi another kernel adapter in the same lan of Veeam and yes, the connection with NFS running trough that kernel and the mount is successfully, I can even browse, but Veeam referring in the job to the NFS via FQDN what is on another IP and therefore fails as the ESXi is communicat

is it possible to extract a single file from the most recent backup of a hyperV VM from a commandline utility?   It tried “extract.exe” and it appears to only extract EVERYTHING and actually restores the vhdx file.  Which I would then have to mount the vhdx somehow and extract the file I need. I’d like to run this from cmdline on a daily schedule. Any help greatly appreciated.

Hi all. I am quite new to Veeam. I was trying to set my laptop up to be backed up daily and at one point I selected VM as an option. I did eventually get it set up as an Agent Backup, but now I get these emails below every day and I can’t find anywhere to delete or remove anything so I quit getting this message. Any help?[Failed] Backup Policy: Agent Backup ….. (1 VMs) 1 failed

Olá comunidade!  Me deparei com o erro abaixo a criar um novo SCALE-OUT.O motivo aparente era jobs simplesmente JOBS em andamento. Podem ser do tipos: Instant Replica Replication Backup Copy Backup JobsTambém importante validar se o SOBR está como:Per VM Per job No meu caso eu aguardei todos os jobs finalizarem e já consegui criar o novo SCALE-OUT. Obrigado!

ciao, volevo sapere se qualcuno di noi italici ha delle esperienze nella protezione di ambienti SAP con Veeam. Onestamente ho googlato parecchio ma più dei manuali ufficiali non ho trovato molto.Al momento i miei dubbi principali sono:il plugin sap hana si può installare solo dalla macchina SAP o è possibile anche aggiungere un protection group e installarlo da console? (credo di sì, ovvero si possa fare da console, ma nella documentazione non ho trovato questa modalità)   il plugin va installato sulle macchine che hanno il DB a bordo? è sufficiente su una per cluster DB? immagino di sì ma anche su questo non mi pare di aver trovato in doc.più in generale mi piacerebbe appunto condividere qualcosa sulle nostre esperienze in merito. (prometto di farlo con le mie al più presto). Grazie! 

Boa tarde a todos ! Fiz meu primeiro deploy do Veeam for AWS, porém surgiu um problema no qual não sei onde cometi o erro. O Veeam me retorna a seguinte informação: The security token included in the request is invalid Nisso, o job não executa, eu não consigo editar e nem validar nada dentro do Veeam. Alguem consegue me dar um norte aqui para fazer o troubleshoot ?

Hi All,Apologies if I am asking in the wrong place, but using VBR V11 Community edition.I want to simulate a DR event. I have taken a Windows  Agent → Entire computer full backup to a USB Drive.Now i want to restore just some files from this USB Backup to a new server ( where the same edition VBR is installed.From the USB Drive on the new server , double clicking on the .VBK file launches Veeam, but my concern is the following window just shows “Restore”. I Don’t want to overwrite the entire server from this backup?  Does “Restore” actually start overwriting files, or does this proceed to show more options  ( and would be better named “Next”, rather than “Restore” ) ??Many thanks in advance.

im seeing alot of these errors on my kube-system api servers ive tried delete api-resouce/crd remove helm install re-installalso tried run the shell script from k10 to verify all is good also aggreation layer and comes out with all OKbeen having this issue past 2 years now, would like to get it away :) im using 1.26 which also passes but been having this issue since foreever 1.19/20/21/22/23/24/25 → 1.26 (current) ive been trying to find similar issues on this board and on redit google facebook, tried every single “solution” but nothing seems to help, what am i missing out =?

Hallo communityIch möchte eine externe Festplatte, die ich eine zeitlang als Veeam Recovery Medium benutzt habe wieder clean formatieren. Die Daten habe ich grundsätzlich gelöscht. Trotzdem ist da noch ein Rest Veeam drauf. Wenn ich Festplatte am PC anschliesse, zeigt der Explorer zwei Laufwerke an:VEEAMRE (D:) und Lokaler Datenträger (E:) Hat mir jemand eine Idee, wie ich die Festplatte ganz clean bringe?Benötige ich dazu eventuell einen speziellen Schlüssel? Ich habe noch einen Ordner gespeichert mit der Bezeichnung: VeeamRecoveryMedium (mit Unterordnern boot, efi, sources ...) Ich meine mich zu erinnern, dass das so eine Art Schlüsseldatei war. Bin mir aber nicht mehr sicher.Danke für Unterstützung🤗

Hola. tengo una consuilta!!Tengo un job donde realizo bkp al cluster completo de la Infra Vmware, estoy usando Veeam 11, y vi que no tiene tildada la opción Enable inline data deduplication (recomendada), esta opción debe estar activada?, es necesaria? Aunque veo veo que los bkp finales si se hace la deduplicación y compresión.  Vi que en el Veeam 12 que estoy probando, lo activa por default. o veo que en la versión 12 la activada por defecto.Gracias 

Hi all.. I’m still getting my feet wet with Veeam.. I had Veeam 11 installed and was playing around with it but wanted to start over due to reconfiguration of the server, adding more storage and whatnot.. Long story short, I uninstalled Veeam 11 and eventually installed v12 after eliminating the old config..I’ve got the tape that I was using to test incremental backups and would like to use with the new setup but it refuses to write to it as it’s marked, I’m sure, by the old Veeam config.What is the best way to mark the tape as “fresh” so it’ll be able to write to the tape again?  Right now Veeam is just sitting here telling me to insert a tape regardless of the fact that a tape is loaded.. TIA!
