VBR upgrade to 12.3.2 fails

Hi all, I'm facing issues when trying to upgrade VBR from 12.3.1 to 12.3.2.EM went fine, but when I try to upgrade VBR, I get an error:"Failed to user specified user account. Error code: 0x00000057".I am running the setup as a domain admin. I also tried to run the setup logged in as the Veeam service account (which is also a domain admin), and as a local admin on the VBR server. All resulted in the same error.Anybody seen this before? I also created a case with Veeam support: 07736493

ciao a tutti, oggi un cliente ci ha fatto vedere una cosa un po’… divertente (perché abbiamo già trovato la soluzione, o meglio l’aveva già trovata lui).Il suo team sicurezza/network ha bloccato la porta 445 a tappeto o quasi. Veeam riusciva comunque a fare il Guest Processing usando VIX. Però a un certo punto non è più riuscito.Il cliente ha trovato 1000 cartelle di profili temporanei TMP.DOMINIO.xxx e trovato che Windows permette la creazione di 999 cartelle ma non oltre. Terminato questo “grace” (abbastanza in fretta se ci sono interazioni frequenti, tipo il salvataggio di log sql) il login è interdetto e il backup fallisce.La soluzione è quella di fare login almeno una volta in modo “umano, o quasi umano” alle VM con l’utenza impostata in Veeam, in modo che il s.o. crei il profilo corretto e si eviti il guaio.La cosa carina è che si tratta di una di quelle cose uscite nel Forum e finite nella documentazione ufficiale (i link sono nel mio post)https://blog.tinivelli.com/once-upon-a-

DR Restore failed..

We are running a Kasten K10 v7.5.3, using NFS service as export profile. Retention policy using veeam plugin for ibm db2

Hola, alguien que tenga experiencia configurando políticas de retención utiliza el plugin veeam ibm db2??He podido configurar el respaldo, y se va directo al repositorio sin embargo no encuentro como aplicar políticas de retención, por ejemplo 10 años para los respaldos full y 3 meses para los respaldos incrementales… Agradecería si alguien conoce como hacerlo.Gracias

Veeam Agent Backup Fails and computer freezes

Hello friends,Currently running veeam agent v6.1.2.134 on a Win 11 machine.Have a full back up running every 3 months with incremental backups about every two days. Backups run to a network share hosted on a centos box.My issue: about every 5 days the back up fails and my computer freezes. It won’t kick the monitor, keyboard or mouse back on and I end up having to restart the computer by holding down the power button. I’m pretty sure it’s Veeam because it wasn’t happening before veeam and every time this happens veeam’s backup has failed. The backups will run fine the other times. There is no rhyme or day pattern I can tell of this happening since it’s every 5 days that it happens. So the last 3 failures occured on Fri 6/7; Wed 6/12; Mon 6/17. In between those I have successful backups and the 6/19 backup last night ran fine.Any thoughts? I’m a bit stumped. Happy to share the log file.

Veeam Data Platform v13 - High Availability Switchover/Failover (BETA Preview) 2 of 2

Recently I shared a post on how to set up Veeam HA in the VDP v13 BETA preview. In this post I’ll walk you through how to perform a Switchover and Failover operation to the 2nd VBR node. There are no pre-requisites per se’ before performing the steps listed below, except for the HA enable configuration steps I shared in my Part 1 post. So let’s get to it, shall we? 😊Perform a SwitchoverFirst, log into the Remote Console to the Cluster IP. Review my previous post on what that IP is Next, go into the Backup Infrastructure Node > Managed Servers, find your 2nd VBR node and rt-click > Switchover    VBR HA Cluster Switchover Verify the items in the next message are taken care of. Ransomware atack

Hi everyone, I'm trying to reinstall my Veeam BK server because we recently suffered a ransomware attack and had to remove it. Is it possible to recover the information I have stored in the data domain where the backups are hosted? Without having the configuration file? I only have the license.Thanks.

Error: Selected Server "HV01" is unavailable

Hi everyone,I’m encountering an issue with an Off-Host backup job in Veeam. The job fails with the following error:"Selected server HV01 is unavailable."Here’s what makes this confusing: HV01 is the Veeam Backup Server itself I’m currently logged in to HV01, and it's definitely online The VM being backed up is up and running It’s just one VM in this Off-Host backup job I’ve already checked the Veeam services, DNS resolution, and proxy configuration – all seem fine Any idea why Veeam thinks the server is unavailable – even though it’s the Veeam server itself?Thanks in advance for any help or pointers!Cheers

Kanister kando blueprint pod getting OOMKilled
