Performing Backup JobsVeeam Backup for Microsoft Entra ID supports two types of backup jobs: Tenant backup jobs that protect tenant data — users, groups, administrative units, roles and applications. Log jobs that protect tenant audit and sign-in logs. Launch New Microsoft Entra ID Tenant Backup Job Wizard To create a Microsoft Entra ID tenant backup job, do one of the following: Open the Home view. On the ribbon, click Backup Job > Microsoft Entra ID > Tenant. Open the Home view. In the inventory pane, right-click Jobs and select Backup > Microsoft Entra ID > Tenant. Step 1: Specify Job Name and Description At the Name step of the wizard, specify a name and description for the job. Performing Backup JobsTo perform backup of Salesforce organizations, Veeam Backup for Salesforce runs backup policies. A backup policy is a collection of settings that define the way backup operations are performed: what data to back up, where to store backups, when to start the backup process, and so on. Launch Add Backup Policy Wizard To launch the Add Backup Policy wizard, do the following: Navigate to the Backup tab. If you have added multiple companies to Veeam Backup for Salesforce, select a company to which the Salesforce organization whose data you want to protect belongs.
