Bonjour,J’ai un backup Copy Job avec archivage de 52 Weekly sur l’ensemble de mes serveurs liés à plusieurs backup job de base. J’ai créé un nouveau backup copy job avec seulement 26 weekly pour un de mes backup job.  En revanche, je n’arrive pas à déplacer les copy job Weekly déjà créés et les liés au nouveau copy job. J’espère avoir été clair :D Bonne journée à tous, Merci à tous,

Hi,After an upgrade to B&R 12 i need to deploy components to my offsite immutable repo.I run “sudo veeamhubrepo”, chose the default user and press enter, but ssh is never enabled so my B&R server cant connect. I recall seeing a note in the header of veeamhubrepo once about SSH being enabled, but now it just showing the IP. Any hints?

Hi all, I am looking for the way to manage the number of concurrent tasks on repository. Two questions regarding it.I was expecting it to be the option of CBackupRepository object but doesn’t seems so. So how to retrieve the current configured number? Whats the difference between LimitConcurrentJobs and MaxConcurrentJobs options in Set-VBRBackupRepository commandlet and which on is actually reflect the option in UI?Cheers,Alexey

a company's backups are made in our company by OPENVPN, we create the jobs in their Veeam and send them to a repository that stays with us, but Veeam cannot find the network path even though the machine is connecting, if we try to add a host with different ip but on the same band it connects normally

Hey Everyone, As I understand it Veeam is fully vMotion aware. That includes storage vMotion. So if someone storage vMotions a VM the replication job should not have any issues? However, if someone moves the replica to a different datastore, based on @MicoolPaul best answer then you would need to remove from the configuration database and seed and  map in the replication jobs to the replicas on the new location.

I’m trying to do Instant Recovery of a large server from a VeeamSourceSnapshot to a different volume. There is no option of doing this, what’s the workaround? We are using NetApp and it has a 100TB limitation on the volume size so this is the reason why I would like to restore to a volume that has more free space. Appreciate your input!

ciao, stavo facendo un “assessment” di una situazione di un cliente e ho visto che hanno un cluster MSSQL 2016 di tipo Always On protetto in questo modo:salvano solo un dei due nodi (quello generalmente attivo) con un job fatto come se fosse un server/istanza singola il job è impostato per processare i transaction logs per maggiore sicurezza (...) c’è anche un maintenance plan che gira con un full di notte e un incrementale “ma in momenti diversi”, la cui definizione dovrebbe essere questa:    mi stavo domandando se questo maint plan, come temo, processa i log e quindi i due backup anche se non eseguiti nello stesso momento comunque si infastidiscono fra loro.Premesso che non ci sono le condizioni per fare grossi cambi a breve, mi domandavo se:il backup “salvo uno dei nodi facendo finta sia singolo” è supportato o andrebbe utilizzato il plugin  è meglio stoppare i maintenance plan per evitare interferenzePlease help :-)Grazie

Hi everyone,we have a file to tape backup job and we wanted to browse the contents of a tape. upon clicking on properties of that tape, we see two tabs (General and Jobs) and we can see just the backup jobs (Have attached screen shot). On the Veeam user guide it states that you can see the actual contents on a particular tape and the two tabs shown on their screenshot are General and Files. (please refer link below)https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backup/vsphere/viewing_backup_sets_on_tape.html?ver=120 Any ideas on how we can achieve this and see files just like in the user guide, instead of jobs? Thanks in advance! 

We have quite some users, that work at least a few days per week in their home office, connected to the corporate LAN using a VPN tunnel. so the local Veeam Agent can connect to the VBR server, and therefore is doing regular Veeam backups over the VPN connection, cutting down the bandwith that much, that the users cannot work anymore in their home office. Two approaches:1.) limit bandwith used to an user adjustable speed rate2.) only run Veeam backups, if the IP address is pointing out “the-laptop-is-connected-to-the-Corporate-Network” (no VPN WAN IP address)

For small kick i wanted to application aware VBR postgresql backup of VM where it’s running, it’s Windows machine.When i choose all parameters and i want archive logs to have retention and click ok i get this :What? Our VBR and Postgresql is on Windows, obviously. Any pointers appreciated.*Perplexing

Good morning,I’m attempting to restore a single file to an Ubuntu workstation (Vmware VM (ESXi/vCenter)).  I’m able to browse the file system, the FLR appliance sets up properly, everything looks good, then it fails, there is NO error in the logs..  There is 1 single warning:Skipping mapping [/media/sda3 ↔ /], because custom mapping on mounted path [/media/sda3] already exists on [/]Not sure if that warning is what’s causing my issue, however it is the only NON -INFO entry in the entire log… Any insight would be greatly appreciated!Thanks,-CoreyP.S. having a real hard time finding a community support forum, so if this is the wrong place to post this I apologize...

Hi, I have a client that wants to back-up his S3 buckets. Everything I can find talks about backing up to S3 which is great but not what he wants. He has a DR policy that states that he has to have a copy of his cloud files on prem. I’ve gone through the AWS module for Veeam from top to bottom, but I can’t find a solution. I was hoping that EFS would work but it does not.
