Interesting….The number of hacked Cisco IOS XE devices has mysteriously plummeted from 50K to hundreds, and no one knows why.

Don’t quote me on this but word on the street is that someone has been leveraging the vulnerability to perform a cleanup on affected devices.
Very interesting statistic there to drop that much. Be interested to see a response as to why.
Cisco released the first fixed for 17.9.4a. You should download it from https://software.cisco.com/download/home and patch it.
Who knows what will happen next…
