I used to be able to use the Veeam Agent software to back up a single physical Server 2019 server but when I went to the Veeam website last week it looks like the Veeam Agent software is no longer able to be used to back up physical servers for free. Is there still a version of the Veeam Agent software or another Veeam product that I can be used to back up a single physical Server 2019 server for free? I need to use a free solution until my organization is able to purchase another Veeam license.

Hi All,with latest version of Veeam B&R, i have a Backup Jobs (that make copy on a remote Mac Folder via SSH that ends with this warning: 23/06/2022 04:33:51 :: Failed to transfer operation summary to backup server: Failed to delete file 'C:\ProgramData\Veeam\Backup\vMac_Files\__IP_USERNAME\Report\__IP_USERNAME_2022-6-23T4331.csv'   If i go to that folder i’m able to delete the file.Any suggest?Thanks 

Hey guys, I have faced this error in customer environment where backup SOBR offload to cloud failed because it shows the error “ TLS version is not permitted on this storage account”, the TLS version is 1.2. I referred some articles and they suggests to add a registry value. One article shows the following registry value details:HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Veeam\Veeam Backup and Replication\Dword: AzureConcurrentTaskLimitvalue: 1 will this registry value work?

Hi,I’m currently evaluating K10 (V5.0) inside a RKE2 cluster with S3-compatible storage as backup target.Since Longhorn probably has some problems with CSI snapshots I created the sidecar configuration as described in https://docs.kasten.io/latest/install/generic.html#end-to-end-exampleI created a “Immutable Backup” Location profile, S3 is Minio.Backup to that location works fine, but when I try to restore I get the following error message:cause:          file: kasten.io/k10/kio/exec/phases/phase/restore_app.go:1610          function: kasten.io/k10/kio/exec/phases/phase.genericVolumeSnapshotRestore          linenumber: 1610          message: No end time recorded for export operation to locked bucketBackup + restore to/from a location without object lock runs without any problems. Any ideas? Hi everyone, I have problem with one of my servers who have MSQL and when the backup is finished i have this warning message “ Unable to truncate Microsoft SQL Server transaction logs. Details: Failed to process 'TruncateSQLLog' command. Failed to truncate SQL server transaction logs for instances: . See guest helper log.” I have search in official support and only find that the veeam account for backup must be MSQL administrator on that database, and to be local admin on that machine. I have make him database admin, but still i have this warning, and the hdd on that machine will be full soon. We have V11 Enterprise with support and so on, but because we are Public Enterprise we have bought this product from one Company in our Town. Can somebody give me some solution instruction step by step ?

1、目前oracle备份采用rman plugin方式，数据库+归档（2小时执行一次归档）2、sap备份采用sap plugin，数据库+log备份（2小时执行一次log）问题：现在备份数据要归档到磁带，一开启磁带作业，oracle和sap的log归档的备份就失败，有什么好的解决方法没有？ 

Hey all!I have a k10 setup and have successfully created and restored from snapshot backups in the same cluster. I have also successfully exported the restore points to the bucket, but pulling them from the new cluster I am getting this error about the kopia manifests. The s3 bucket back-end is a ceph cluster, and both clusters are connected to the same buckets. The decryption key lets me proceed with the import policy and runs it, so it seems like it can see it. I have verified that the data is being pushed to the bucket. I have also verified the backup works on the same cluster, as I “exported from restore point outside the cluster with success”  Anything to look for in specific? I have looked through the logging pod and don’t see anything obvious. 

Hola, soy usuario de Veeam Backup & Replication desde hace años. Hace meses implemente una solucion de almacenamiento hardened o inmutable en Linux que funciona bien. No obstante no me coinciden los conceptos de rotacion de los backups aun adaptandome a los tiempos de proteccion de los jobs que backup que lanzo sobre ese repositorio. Lo que obtengo es un crecimiento (no rota ni elimina backups que han quedado obsoletos) exponencial aumentando cada vez el numero de copias disponibles.Mi idea es mantener 2 copias en el hardened repository. Como ejemplo:Creo un backup en el repositorio inmutable directamente desde el servidor en produccion el dia 1 y le doy 10 dias de inmutabilidad. El job dice que almacena 2 copias o puntos de restauracion. El dia 15 le lanzo de nuevo el job y me hace una segunda copia (mismos parametros del job) El dia 30 le lanzo de nuevo el job. Segun la configuracion deberia eliminar la copia creada el dia 1, porque han pasado mas de 10 dias (periodo de inmutabil

Buongiorno a tutti, vado ad esporre la mia problematica…ho installato Veeam Agent for Windows 5.0.3.4708 su una Workstation con OS Windows 10 Pro 21H2 Build 19044.1706; sulla mia console di Veeam BR versione 11.0.0.837, ho inserito la workstation in un job precedentemente creato per un’altra Workstation con Windows 11 che funziona regolarmente;ma quando vado a dare  “l’apply Configuration” oppure lancio il Job oppure ricevo il seguente errore: Vi risulta che NON sia supportata ?Grazie.  

Buenos días, Una de las grandes mejoras que vi que tenía Veeam12, es la posibilidad de hacer backups directamente a servicios Cloud, sin necesidad de pasar por backups a local previos que luego se suban. Pregunto, ¿se ha pensado algo similar para los backups a Tape? Es decir, ¿está contemplada la posibilidad de hacer backups a Tape directamente de VM o aplicaciones como un SQL o un Exchange sin pasar por un backup previo a disco? Gracias

Hi Veeam,Currently one of our customer using RMAN to backup there oracle database to the tape. They want to use Veeam RMAN plugin backup to the Veeam repository but the problem is they don’t want to completely stop the backup to tape.They are requesting there is any possible way to simultaneously backup their  Oracle database  to tape and also to RMAN plugin backup.They are having huge concern on RMAN plugin configuration. Hello Everyone,I am using the Veeam Service Provider Console v6 product. Because of a security audit, I must collect all activity logs from the VSPC portal. Now the VSPC portal only can show Event logs in the web UI portal and VSPC does not support pushing event logs to a log system like ELK or vRealize Log Insight. Hey Guys, I have a scenario.So my customer environment was taking oracle backups to tape without using Veeam. Now they want to initiate RMAN backup using Veeam. After installing plug-in the configuration settings gets updated in oracle but they also want existing backup jobs to the tape to continue after veeam plug-in install. Is there a solution to this?  

Does anyone have a good strategy to bring versioned file based backups from multi vendors into veeam or any other solution? 

Following this document https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backup/vsphere/restore_files_from_tape_objects.html?ver=110but I did not get the same screen shot as described in the document.

Buenas tardes,Hasta la fecha tenemos distribuídos los repositorios de Veeam en x máquinas. 1TB por aquí, 2TB por allí, 500MB en otra máquina…Estamos analizando la posibilidad de configurar un único repositorio virtual de almacenamiento que utilice el disco de dichas máquinas de forma unificada y así apuntar todos los backups al mismo repositorio.Quería preguntar ventajas e inconvenientes de este método y si la forma de hacerlo es con un Scale Out. Por otro lado, qué sucede si me falla una de las máquinas? Es capaz de reconstruir los datos desde otra para que sean restaurables?Gracias!!!!
