You need to backup a customer’s on premises Kubernetes cluster. The customer is not using a csi driver for storage. Can Kasten still back this up? If so how?

I signed up for a 30 days trial for the MS365 backup. I am backing up my Exchange server into a local repository. I was wondering if MS365 fails. How do we recover from the files we have in the local repository? In other words is if MS365 one day decided not to function anymore. How do we recover our exchange files from the repository that Veeam back up to? 

What are some methods that can be used to leverage secrets in a pod?

I am currently using Veeam and Backup and Replication 10.  How do I delete disk backup jobs after I verify the tape backup job has completed successfully.  I’m in the process of ordering more hard drive disk space but my fear is that I delete the wrong stuff that would prevent a restore from completing should I have a need to perform.  Thank you. John N

Veeam 11.0.1.1260Very slow incrémental backup on SMB shares.At the job’ creation , the first backup bandwidth is up to 54 MB, then when the incremental run, we got up to 200kb and takes hours to backup little.

Simpre han sido con demos ya que todavia no tengo ningun cliente con esta opcion instalada, seguramente por las dudas que me produce a mi.  Las veces que he probado el repositorio de copias se llenaba de una manera alarmante y nunca acababa. No se si hago algo mal o es asi el sistema.¿Alguien tiene esperiencia en el tema y me puede aconsejar o enfocar que camino tengo que seguir?Saludos

You have been asked to expose an application running in a EKS. What would be the simplest and quickest manner to get this done?

Hello, I’ve setup the primary cluster of the k10multicluster using this command:./k10multicluster setup-primary --name=”xx-xx-xx”But I’ve made a mistake with the name of the primary cluster. I’ve tried to change the name using this command:./k10multicluster setup-primary --name=”yy-yy-yy” --replaceBut I’ve got this error:ERROR: Could not setup primary cluster (cluster_name: yy-yy-yy)  -> A primary cluster configuration already exists on this cluster (cluster_name: xx-xx-xx) I’ve looked at the help commands but nothing seems to perform a rename. How can I rename or delete the k10multicluster to have the correct name? Thank you in advance !

Where can I get the import string if I created a policy to export restore points each day and then need to restore any of these restore points in a different K8s cluster?

So our company is growing, and planning for the future we are moving our VEEAM to a new server, and of course decommission the old one. With this move we want to start fresh, but retain access to the old repository. Is there a certain process we can do, so that the old jobs will not be migrated to the new server, thus reducing clutter, and allow us to restore from the old repository?The reason for this is the backup job infrastructure was created, and adapted to a fast growing company so it was sort of a reactionary solution. We now have the storage and plan on moving to the cloud. This will hopefully allow us to move away from our aging tape drive a good bit.Thank you all for your help in this matter.

Hey guys, this is query related to failover plan. Is failover plan dependent on replication job? When u select failover plan, u can select from replicas or infrastructure. From infrastructure option, can we select the VMs which are not replicated?

What is the command to delete a deployment?

We are beginning to put together a cloud based backup infrastructure, so we want to insure that we are leaving some bandwidth available for our employees, and not hobbling our internal backups. I have been doing some light research, and was wondering if there was a way to throttle only the backups that go up to the cloud, while leaving the on premise back up to disk jobs running at full.  I have seen how to setup the global rules, but they seem to apply to all jobs unless I am mistaken. Thank you in advance for any advise you can give me, or point me in the right direction.

All three showed perpetual licenses still.When Update or Install or Remove were clicked, the warning came up that the licensing was managed by an EM Server, did we want to continue? I am striking out on my Google-Fu and Forums-Fu ! I can't find a definitive result for what happens to backups when the source VMDK is resized (larger). Can anyone point me to the correct link for a customer to review? I think the backup job runs a new full because the block map changes. But for Replication, a rescan of the disk supposedly prevents resending the whole disk.
