Hello, I’m trying to setup an application level backup for MongoDB using kasten/kanister integration in a k8s cluster,i’ve created the Kanister Profile using the Kasten interface for a S3 Compatible target (minIO) ,i’m using this YAML as a base blueprint for the backup action raw.githubusercontent.com/kanisterio/kanister/0.72.0/examples/stable/mongodb/blueprint-v2/mongo-blueprint.yaml when i execute the policy trough kasten UI, i get the following error: cause:cause:cause:fields:- name: messagevalue: "could not render object reference {mongosecret}: template: config:1:14:executing \"config\" at <.Deployment.Name>: can't evaluatefield metadata in type *param.DeploymentParams"Actually our MongoDB is deployed as a Deployment and we have annotated the deployments manifest with this annotation: kanister.kasten.io/blueprint: mongodb-blueprintWhy the kanister operator cannot evaluate correctly the GO template at runtime?

Hello Team, We notice a lot of stale pods (created on a random date in previous months of Jan, Feb and March) with the name ‘backup-data-stats-*’ and stale secrets (again created in previous months)  ‘k10-content-store-passphrase-*’ in kasten namespace. Is there a way to visualize K10 board in Grafana?I have installed k10 with --set prometheus.server.enabled=false --set grafana.enabled=falseI have separately installed Prometheus & Grafana in environment, where k10 is also installed. K10 is listening in 8080 port separately and Grafana in 3000.I want k10 to be visualized in 3000 port. Can anyone suggest.

Hallo, ich bin noch ganz neu im Veeam Geschäfft und versuche aktuell verschiedene Szenarieren nachzustellen. Über Hilfe würde ich mich sehr freuen. Wir möchten Veeam Backup & Replication Essentials zur Sicherung div. Hyper-V VM’s und M365 einsetzen. Die Backups landen intern auf NAS (iSCSI) und per Backup Copy Job auf USB HDD. Zusätzlich möchten wir die Backups nun aber an einen anderen Standort replizieren. Der Standort ist bislang nicht per VPN angebunden. Welche Hardware Komponenten benötige ich am zweiten Standort? Server (W10 / Server 2022) / NAS / VPN Anbindung (?)Welche Veeam Software und Veeam Lizenz benötige ich am zweiten Standort?Wie binde ich den zweiten Standort als Backup Ziel in der Hauptinstallation im Firmennetz ein?

I did a research for consistent PostgreSQL backups with Kasten K10 and found:https://docs.kasten.io/latest/kanister/postgresql/install_app_cons.htmlApplication Consistent PostgreSQL BackupYou described there to use a Kanister pre-hook (“pg_start_backup”) and post-hook (“pg_stop_backup”). Afaik, that alone will not create a consistent backup. You also need any generated archived WAL file between. Archiving must be enabled (archive_mode=on), archived WAL files must be backuped too, therefore. I did not find anything about how to backup archived WAL files. If the vdisk is 100G , but only 40G is used , will Veaam backup 100G or 40G in first full backup ?

Guten Morgen zusammen, heute musste ich feststellen, dass mein Wasabi SOBR Offload gefailed ist.Folgende Fehlermeldung steht in den Actions:Fehler bei der Prüfsumme für die Datenintegrität. Die Daten im Dateidatenstrom sind beschädigt. Asynchronous request has failed. [readsize = 1048576] [offset = 17076584448]. Der Backup auf iSCSI funktioniert problemlos. Weiß jemand, woran das liegen könnte? Viele Grüße und Danke

I am new to Veeam and would like to restore the backup to a new location. The wizard takes me through steps to restore. In the datastore menu does it automatically create the VM with the new name. This is production server just need to know more before proceeding. Is this the only wizard for restore or after completing this wizard there will be another wizard to be completed. Is the live server online when the server is restored?

Hi TeamWe have a customer where we have VBO deployed on premise with a local onpremise repository attached to an Object storage.Customer was requesting for option to perform a monthly full backup to cloud and also a yearly backup to cloud .Would this be possible ? Please confirm on the possibilities .I have created an archival object storage repository for the same .Based on my understanding of the technology , only backup copy to archival storage can be configured which will do a direct copy of the existing backup job. 

Hi TeamI have a customer where we have configured VBA for AWS backups across different tenants..KMS encryption configured for at the repository level.VBA integration with VBR using the VBA plugin to assist with centralized licensing and a single pane of glass for VBA management has also been configured.Customer was hoping he could create a backup copy job of data residing on AWS to an Azure or GCP bucket.Would this be possible ? If Yes How and if not possible would it be possible to configure a backup copy to a different region within AWS itself. Was unable to bringup any details of the same .Someone from Veeam presales had stated that it would be possible with regular password encryption and not KMS but how would this be achieved.  ThxKarun  

Hello,I have a question regarding my snapshots. I have created an NFS location profile. The backups all work fine and the disaster recovery policy works without any problems, but strangely when I download a report it says that I should have 0 snapshots on the storage... also under Data Usage it shows me 0.0B of backups....But funnily enough, I can restore all applications without any problems and they all show up as "Compliant With Policies". Here is a screenshot of my test policy: And here a screenshot of the created folder on the remote storage I don't quite understand whether I don't understand how this works exactly or whether there is a technical issue here... Would a DR be possible at all in this case? Will the data be properly backed up to the remote storage?
