I’ve looked at the job logs and they don’t specify the exact files that were backed up. A file to tape jobs lists the equivalent of “5 folders and 3 files backed up”. And I cannot seem to run a report of the contents of tapes, I instead have to right click on tapes in the media pools and view it there. Would you have any recommendations?
Ich habe mit dem Veeam Agent for Windows aktuell das Problem, dass bei meiner Windows Sicherung auf ein NAS-System immer Folgende Fehlermeldung kommt: Error: Schlüssel ist im angegebenen Status nicht gültig.Ich habe bereits ein neues Sicherungsziel auf der Nas eingerichtet, was leider nicht funktioniert hat. Der Veeam Agent wurde auch schon mehrmals reinstalliert, was allerdings auch zu keiner erfolgreichen Sicherung führte.

Running VBR v12.0. Created a backup job. Ran the job and got an error so went back in and try to edit the job. I got the error below. First time, I encountered this error. The backup log just showed the same information. I have a similar job running in our “staging” VBR but not having any error. The backup job is a storage snapshot and does handle SQL transaction logging. I saw in the Veeam’s Forum the same error message but this was for a backup copy job. What do you think is happening here?

I have 2 Veeam V11 VBR servers. Which backup different servers. Servers are mostly VMWare, Windows/Linux and some Agent backups. No NFS/CIFS/ network share backups. At one point in time, these were 2 VBR servers in 2 separate data-centers but these data-centers got merged so now they’re located in the same data-center. They each use backup copy jobs to offload backups to Azure. For Azure, they’re using the same account, but upload to a different folder. Both servers have different proxies and different backup repositories. Backup repo’s are a combo of Windows and Linux (immutable). Each server uses a different SQL (server 2019) back-end. Now, the idea is, to upgrade Veeam to V12 and merge these 2 V11 VBR servers into one V12 VBR server. Is this even possible? An upgrade to V12 can either done on the existing servers and then merge or I could build a new VBR server, install Veeam V12 and migrate both servers to the new one. Ich möchte den Copy Jop abstellen und hierfür eine Auslagerung der Datensicherung in einen S3 Speicher einrichten.Ist es möglich, dass man die Backupdateien vom NAS in das S3 Bucket verlagert oder muss hierfür ein weiterer Backup Job für das S3 Repository angelegt werden?Ich habe bereits mehrere Tests durchgeführt. Es läuft aber nicht stabil oder überhaupt nicht. Ständig erhalte ich Fehlermeldungen. Anscheinend habe ich in der Konfiguration Fehler gemachtWelche Einrichtungen würdet ihr mir empfehlen?Könnt ihr mir hierzu eine Anleitung geben?Es gibt jede Menge an S3 Storage anbietern in Deutschland. Hello everyone! I am building brand new VEEAM environment. The plan is to have Management Server as virtual machine as well as proxy servers. Physical components are: Immutable repository, Tape Server+Tape library, SANs. I got stack with the point of restoring environment in case of main management server is not available (ransomware attack, whole virtual environment is down, including SANs). I still have backups on tapes. Maybe on Immutable repository. I was going to backup Management server configuration to repository on Tape Server . And Tape server itself periodically to external hard drive. So as a starting point we have healthy Tape server + backup of the configuration can be used.What will the the steps to recover the environment? Cheers,

Hi All, Currently we do an Instant recovery from the ‘Entire Computer’ backup taken by Veeam agent, it goes for P2V conversion. Once the instant recovery completes, when we initiate ‘Migrate it to Production’ (may be to VMware Hypervisor using dedicated proxy which can handle 4 concurrent tasks. But it seems Veeam is treating the restore as single task and the number of VMDK files/Disk associated with the restored VM is migrated one by one which prolongs the RTO. Is there a way to consider each VMDK file as separate task (which will allow for parallelism) during the entire VM restore (using instant recovery method and ‘Migrate it to Production’)?
