Hey Folks,just curious if its a bug or working as intended: It’s a brand new VBR and VBEM environment (V12.3) on a customer site. Currently it’s in onboarding/configuration phase. We have configured Roles, MFA and stuff like that. Currently the local user veeam-administrator is marked as a Service Account - so for this specific account, no MFA is required. We use this Account for making the initial connection between Enterprise Manager and VBR. After entering the required informations, we get the error message: Six-digit confirmation code is required. As you can see in the User & Roles section within VBR, its correct marked as a Service-Account. So my next step was to temporary disable the whole MFA function within VBR. After that, connecting VBEM with VBR is working as expected. Re-enabling MFA in VBR after that, was not a problem at all and VBEM can further communicate with VBR, as it’s on certificate-based authentication. I didn’t find informations, if this is working as

Hello Veeam Community,I’m working with Veeam and need clarification on how SLA compliance is calculated in the following scenario:I have an SLA setup with the following settings:RPO (Recovery Point Objective): 8 hoursRTO (Recovery Time Objective): 8 hoursFor a backup job that runs for 24 hours, the results were as follows:20 backup jobs finished within the 8-hour RPO.2 backup jobs took 9 hours to complete (missed the RPO by 1 hour).2 backup jobs failed (no backup completed for these VMs).How does Veeam One calculate RPO compliance in this scenario?
Morning Veeam Gnu’s ;)Got a fiddly one that I can’t figure out.Veeam One server sits in DR Datacentre. If the link between the Prod and DR datacentre goes wobbly, Veeam One loses its connection and we start to get spurious reports such as snapshots that no longer exist on VMs but still appear in the report.The fix is odd - retype the service account password in Virtual Centre and retry the connection.Is there reg key where I can turn down the sensitivity of Veeam One for the VC connection ? We are attempting to script a way to remove offline Tape backups from Veeam so that they can be reused without error. Can someone please help us with the correct cmdlet and syntax to search for all offline tapes and remove them from catalog? I have attached the script we are working with. We’re looking at building plans to failover into Azure and due to a number of firewall constraints with 3rd party services the ideal situation is to have the ability to re-IP the VMs stood up in Azure to match the IPs from their source host.Given the limitations in Azure with the vNET assigning dynamic IPs when the VM is stood up and that currently I can see no option in the VRO plan steps for Cloud to specifically to re-IP has anyone else either looked at, ideally, scripted options from the VRO or Azure side or have any experience (good or bad) to share about this.Obviously, we like to avoid a significant amount of “manual” re-IP work once a plan is executed and have VRO take care of the whole process end-to-end to reduce the potential for delay/errors in the process, so any use case scenarios would be greatly appreciated as to whether this is feasible at this time. I am not sure if this has been posted somewhere before but I thought I would post my experience of setting up Linux proxies for our VMware backups and the one issue I ran into. I deployed a couple of Ubuntu 22.04 VMs, as I will be using hot-add for the VM backups. I added them to the VBR server and created a test backup of one VM. First backup attempt and I got this error:Error: Cannot get service content. Soap fault. Temporary failure in name resolution Detail: 'getaddrinfo failed in tcp_connect()', endpoint: 'https://vc.domain.local:443/sdk' SOAP connection is not available. Connection ID: [vc.domain.local]. Failed to create NFC download stream. Hi all,I have the above error and can’t seem to find a solution. With the research I’ve done so far, some suggested this is an account authentication issue. I’ve ensured that this is not the case. I’ve checked to see if the the port 11731 is being used by another process. It’s not. It’s free and listening. I tried recreating the job, no joy. I’ve rebooted the server to nil effect.Does anyone have any other suggestions?Thanks in advance.

Durante a execução so script “Veeam Security & Compliance analyzer”, voce acompanhará as mensagens do que não está implementado e no final da tela, terá a opção de aplicar todas as recomendações simplesmente digitando a opcao 2.Na tela acima, observe que várias recomendações requerem que o servidore VBR sofra um reboot, logo, organize-se para poder realizar a atividade acima quando não houver necessidade de executar novos backup ou restore.
