Hi !I’m using the extract utility for test all the password of encrypted jobs and it work well. Just a problem when the password contain a double quotes (“).I pass the good password but it seem that the extract utlity fails when we used password with double quote.The main command i use is that one : .\Extract.exe -dir $full_dir -password $mdpI got the error message “Password is incorrect”obviously I already have verified the password and he is correct. Does anyone have an idea ? or do i have to change all the password that contain a double quote ?

HI,We are doing a POC on client with all instalation parameters OK. There are 3 CSV volumes and on volume02 with 104TB all VM backup failed with this error: Failed to create snapshot (Microsoft CSV Shadow Copy Provider) (mode: Crash consistent) Details: Unknown status of async operationVss error: '0x80042306' Only with this CSV Volume.Does anyone have any idea?ThanksWeberth Moreira

I am not sure how many of you use or have looked in to Wasabi S3 storage that are in Canada but they have now got a region within Toronto that can be used for their storage offerings.  I use this in my homelab to send my Veeam backups to and will now work to migrate from the US-East region to Canada.  Great expansion for Wasabi and offering to Canadians now. What are the service URLs for Wasabi's different storage regions? – Wasabi Knowledge Base (zendesk.com)

Hello,I am working as System, Virtu and Backup engineer.Currently designing a VBO architecture for a customer who has a huge amount of data in Azure O365.I see everywhere on the forums problems with VBO 1st backup speed even on quite small environment.Do you have any reference or use cases about customers with more than 5000 users, or 5000 SharePoint sites and how long it took to perform the fisrt backup ?Is VBO well suited for this kind of customer with more than 100 TB of data in AZURE to INGEST ?Would it be a good strategy to fix a short retention (5 days) to catch few object on the first run and then change it to 10 days for the 2nd run and so on in order to reduce the overall amount for each run ? Or does not make sense as after each retention change the job will start as if it is the first time ?

Hi,Though I know the answer but still curious to know, Can anyone migrated backed up data from HP Data Protector to Veeam Backup & Replication?  Is there any automation/Tool available to perform this? Secondly, if my VBR 9.5 Tape Server is running on Windows 2008 & I am installing a new VBR V11a on Windows 2019 with new tape server & Drives.  Does new VBR V11 will be able to read the files from old tapes? Regards,Sunny

Hi all,I have an issue on our Veeam ONE server and I could not find the root cause of performance charts delay. The server has been upgraded to Veeam ONE v11 recently and the issue happened after upgrade.Deployment type: Advanced Scalability Deployment modeDatabase: External SQL Server 2019There is no performance issue on the server. Monitoring server and database server are placed on Flash datastore. Could you please help me to resolve the issue if there is misconfiguration?

Hi,Does anyone know how to get Veeam to copy the Full backup + incrementals to tape daily? As in each day a new tape has both.  Alternativly I would be happy for it to create a synthetic full to tape each day.Ideally i dont want to do a reverse incremental incase they decide to go to cloud as well at a later date.Veeam just seems to refuse to backup files it already has on another tape! Thanks for the help.

Dear All, I would just like to know, if I want to protect my Azure workload using Veeam backup for Azure by downloading the preconfigured appliance available in marketplace, Can I use Veeam universal licenses file onto it. I dont want to create any VBR Server either on-premise or hybrid. Any help or support is highly appreciated. Regards,Sunny

I did following test run TestVM  backup >  Tape BackupAWS tape Gateway > Sucesss  Restore from backup > VM Restore > Restore to EC2 > FailedRestore job failed Error: File does not exist. File: []. Failed to open storage for read access. Storage: []. Cannot open a local backup for the file level restore. Storages: [AWS-TEST-RUND2022-03-23T101007_BE57.vbk]. Agent failed to process method {Mount.QueryOsInfo}.

Great Day To all, I need your help. I’m desperate with configuration Backup on suse linux.  I can´t make one Backup with out error. Now i have 2. 1º Warning: Cannot find EFI boot manager entry for EFI System Partition GUID [{fd710814-4267-4121-bc79-7909e224d025}].  2º Could not create btrfs on /dev/loop3   My Boot is EFI, i don't know what i'm doing wrongCan You help me? i use Veeam B&R. The best regards to all.   

Hey guys, I require your suggestionIf I have stored backups in local repo in NTFS format and later realized it should be in refs, what should be the next step?Should I format the current repo into Refs or I add another repo of Refs and move the backups?

Can a support ticket be raised without providing a support ID ? 

As part of the audit findings, the auditor is looking for the history or evidence that Veeam Backup and Replication were being patch regularly. Is there a way I can extract this?
