How would you configure the rule for this infrastructure and limitations.Infrastructure:HPE Simplivity - 4 nodesRunning Policy-based backups for near line native restores.Veeam Backup & Replication 11aVeeam Backup Server is a VM Veeam Backup Server is a Proxy Server Additional VM running as a Proxy Server 1x HPE StoreOnce 3650 33TB as the backup target. Wasabi for S3 Storage (25TB capacity) (No physical server in the environment) Enterprise license editionI would like to use the StoreOnce on-premise as my long and deep backup storage say 6 months and only use Wasabi for disaster with say 1 month - 2 month retention on there.Have Production VMs that want offsite, Dev and QAS can stay onsite.If I only use a Backup Job with SOBR for offsite VM’s how do I get that level of retention onsite and that level offsite.Or do I have to stretch to BCJ with SOBR, but that increases data stored on the StoreOnce as near two copies or data stored. Thanks. I’m trying to add an account that does not have MFA using the Veeam O365 Backup Accounts Manager. Password validation using the account password fails. Is an application password now required?

Hello! I try to backup a namespace containing a deployment with the following resources: deployments, service, configmap, secrets, pvc/pv (storageclass rook and nfs). It seems that I have problems with the nfs storageclass: If I try to backup every ressource I get an error “storageclass not supported”. Thats no problem I thought, because I tried:  Excluding the pvc by name in the policy. But it got stuck in the phase “Snapshotting Application Components”  Can you help me out with this, its freaking me out.  Kubernetes 1.22 fresh installed K10 4.5.9

what is the best option to integrate nimble storage directly with veeam or to present it as disk on veeam servers and configure backup repository.considering backing up physical infra as well..

Daily Policy- Backup job runs every day, job schedule starts at 07:00 PM and must be finished before 06:00 AM.- Using the Forever forward incremental method- Backup defragment is done once a week- Backup Health Check is done once a week- Retention policy is set for 30 restore points2. Hello,I have an interrogation, about how Veeam works with Forever forward  Incremtal backup job and immuability.I know that’s not possible to use this kind of job with an hardened repository, even if you try to configure it, Veeam will pop up an error message. But how it work with capacity tier with object lock enabled?Veeam doesn’t transfer all data block to the capacity tier but only the new data blocks and metadata from each new backup file. (System similar to ReFS/XFS). I read the documentation about block generation but it’s not really clear in my head.If someone have a schema that would be nice.thanks

Hi,We have just taken a trial of Veeam for AWS backup. It expires on the 11th of Sept so we want to get a licence for this product. Hello,I'm using Veeam 11 community edition.  I'm having trouble booting from the recovery media.  First of all the "Press any key to boot from CD or DVD" is displayed in German.  When I do press a key the system hangs at a screen with the blue 4 pane window image, a MS Windows image.  I also noticed I don't get the option to include drivers when building the image. Please let me know if you have any ideas.Thank you,Frank 

how to find veeam run time logs while integration with azure and deploying appliance

I am attempting Connect to Repository in community edition to my Google Cloud account.  I have my access and secret keys and am able to connect to my bucket but do not see any folders listed when I browse so I am unable to complete adding the repository.  I made sure the folder was created before I created the secret keys and I have tried several attempts with new/different projects within G-cloud.  Any idea why it can see my bucket but not the folder?  I have given the service account within G-cloud owner rights. Thanks for any help or suggestions   

Hi,we have 4 different backup priorities and vCenter Tags which our VMs are assigned to. Now i would like to implement 3 different vCenter Tags for application-aware processing options. Unfortunatly i can’t remove the Prio4 Tag from aap settings, because it’s used for default. Whats happens if a VM has assigned 2 Tags in aap options? Is there some kind of hierarchy which option will be used? What would be best practise in this case?

Hi, I am the end user and currently subscribe to cloud connect from a service provider. I am running into an issue where I have totally crushed my bandwidth limits at my DC location because of backups. I would like to shift my backup traffic to use a different gateway, much like I am able to do with object storage, but I am not seeing an option for the service provider configuration to select a different gateway. Is the only option for my backup copies to go to the cloud connect provider through the Veeam server and not a different gateway?

Hello Team, We notice a lot of stale pods (created on a random date in previous months of Jan, Feb and March) with the name ‘backup-data-stats-*’ and stale secrets (again created in previous months)  ‘k10-content-store-passphrase-*’ in kasten namespace. Is there a way to visualize K10 board in Grafana?I have installed k10 with --set prometheus.server.enabled=false --set grafana.enabled=falseI have separately installed Prometheus & Grafana in environment, where k10 is also installed. K10 is listening in 8080 port separately and Grafana in 3000.I want k10 to be visualized in 3000 port. Can anyone suggest.

Hallo, ich bin noch ganz neu im Veeam Geschäfft und versuche aktuell verschiedene Szenarieren nachzustellen. Über Hilfe würde ich mich sehr freuen. Wir möchten Veeam Backup & Replication Essentials zur Sicherung div. Hyper-V VM’s und M365 einsetzen. Die Backups landen intern auf NAS (iSCSI) und per Backup Copy Job auf USB HDD. Zusätzlich möchten wir die Backups nun aber an einen anderen Standort replizieren. Der Standort ist bislang nicht per VPN angebunden. Welche Hardware Komponenten benötige ich am zweiten Standort? Server (W10 / Server 2022) / NAS / VPN Anbindung (?)Welche Veeam Software und Veeam Lizenz benötige ich am zweiten Standort?Wie binde ich den zweiten Standort als Backup Ziel in der Hauptinstallation im Firmennetz ein?
