I’ve been part of technology communities for over a dozen years. If there’s one lesson I’ve learned, it’s that you never stop learning. When I started in tech, Cloud was the shiny new thing. At the time, I was recruiter who wanted to learn about the technologies I was recruiting for so, I started attending Columbus Cloud Computing User Group. Over time, I became more involved in the community, co-organized a cross-platform cloud computing conference, and worked in Community Management with cloud and DevOps engineers, architects, and admins. Through this ad hoc learning, I gained a theoretical understanding of the cloud but not much hands-on experience. As the newest member of Veeam’s Product Strategy team, I’m enhancing my knowledge and becoming more hands-on with Azure and Veeam’s Azure backup and recovery solutions. Bonjour,Je viens d’installer et de découvrir Veeam Backup pour Office365, j’ai paramétré un JOB pour sauvegarder uniquement l’organisation SHAREPOINT sur un disque dur Externe mais très souvent et voir tout le temps maintenant j’ai l’erreur “JetError -1022, JET_errDiskIO, Disk IO error” cette erreur est parlante mais j’ai déjà remplacé le disque a plusieurs reprise et il fonctionne très bien sur cette même machine avec un VEEAM AGENT. Avez vous une piste a me donner ?

Hallo zusamnmen, ich nutze Veeam schon etwas länger und möchte nun wieder einmal eine neue Umgebung aufbauen.Wir haben Veeam B&R, eine QNAP Rackstation, eine Synologys DS723 und WASABI Cloudspeicher. Bei anderen Setups hatte ich immer nur 1 NAS.Dort habe ich es immer über Scale out Repository gemacht. Nun möchte ich es im Endeffekt so haben, das eine NAS als iSCSI angebunden wird und dann eine Kopie in die Cloud und auf die andere Nas (räumlich getrennt) geht.Welche NAS als iSCSI und welche als remote, lasse ich mal offen.Wie würdet ihr das ganze am besten Aufsetzen? We had case #03228597 open with Veeam support for this issue. We noticed that when trying to restore a particular database, we received the error ‘filestream feature must be enabled on the target server’ Filestream feature was not enabled on the source DB/MSSQL server Restoring other DBs from the same source server worked without issue After some back and forth with support, they identified this as a bug:Unfortunately, we discovered this is a bug in our current version of Veeam. We have Kasten K10 on installed via operator on multiple clusters. All of the K10 instances seem to have excessive amounts of helm revision when viewed with helm history k10 Is this normal behavior? We seem to be getting ~200 revisions per hour.

HelloI have 4 VM on 4 different physical servers with Veeam Backup&Replication community edition v12.1.56.In my system, I have a VM under debian 12 which is used as Postfix SMTP relay for all my servers. Internally, everything goes through port 25 and all my servers send mail to this relay without identification or password. The relay then sends everything to my dedicated office365 mailbox.In less than 1 day, 2 of my Veeam VMs stopped sending me mail.So every time I run the test mail, I get the message: Unable to connect to SMTP server because of invalid credentials or connection settings.I've compared the smtp configuration with that of the 2 servers that are still working, apparently I haven't seen any anomalies and everything is identical. Tengo algunas consultas, he implementado varios repositorios inmutables, en el camino me he encontrado con el dilema de que distribución es mejor para ello y me he centrado en dos: Ubuntu Server y Red Hat.Algunos colegas me indican que mejor es Red Hat sin embargo veo muchos temas que hablan del uso de Ubuntu Server… ¿Qué creen ustedes, cual sea mejor? Adicionalmente, validando las buenas practicas, que entre ellas esta quitar el usuario del grupo sudo, que la maquina no sea virtual sino física, deshabilitar el ssh y no usar ntp públicos, etc. ¿Qué recomendación adicional pueden sugerir?
