Hi, does the server have enough physical disk space for Windows VSS? And, presuming there’s antivirus on the server, have you included the relevant AV exclusions?
Hi, does the server have enough physical disk space for Windows VSS? And, presuming there’s antivirus on the server, have you included the relevant AV exclusions?
Can you please explain what you mean by enough disk space for Windows VSS? Currently, more than 50% of the disks are free.
Thanks for your contribution! Our backup is full option, no need exclusion, and the other physical servers with same full backup are successfully backup without any issue, only this server has issue.
I opened a case about it, the support team is checking the logs and figuring out the root of the issue.
Using Volume backup server can be affected to some no critical issue, as VSS service stopped (check here https://www.veeam.com/kb2041) or disk management unexpected changes.
I repeat my previous thought if you want to continue to use Volume level backup:
Hi, Anyone can help with this error from a physical server backup?
“10:30:32 Calculating digests Error: Could not find file 'C:\Windows\TEMP\tmp171E.tmp'. Could not find file 'C:\Windows\TEMP\tmp171E.tmp'. “

Did anyone solved the case?
Veeam B&R 12.1.2.172, agent successfully installed to physical machine that I’m trying to backup.
Physical machine is windows 2008 R2 and it’s a domain controller.
