Hi @Boerny41!

For Linux you can download the generic recovery media from the Veeam Website or repository. And if you have any special drivers you need included, you would create the recovery media on the agent system itself.

This is different compared to Windows Agents, where you can create the media from within the console.

I tried to do it on the machine itself but it doesn't know the command "veeamconfig" only command available is "veeamtransport". I installed the agent via Backup and Replication Server and also installed genisoimage, squashfs-tools, xorris & isolinux as stated in the help center: https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/agentforlinux/userguide/recovery_media_create.html?ver=60

Maybe a permission issue? Have you tried it with sudo?

As an alternative you can also use the Veeam UI

Hi @Boerny41 -

Can you use veeam instead of veeamconfig and just use the Linux Control Panel to create your recovery media?

Okay opening the gui and creating the recovery media there worked. Thank you!
