Good morning friends I'm having a problem that has never happened to me, when trying to open the program options it gives me the error in the photo. Has it ever happened to anyone?

I need assistance in adding a veeam agent
I’m currently using Veeam B&R v12. Having a screen Refresh option would be nice rather than having to constantly hit FN F5 on my keyboard.
Hello Under hyper-v environment , I’m trying to backup VMs with an other account than the “administrator” one. So I created a user “veeamadmin” on the domain and enroll this new user in the domain admin and administrators groups (almost the same group as the administrator account) But I get an unknown error when testing the credential: 2023-11-07 8:10:39 AM Failed Cannot connect to VM [ca040e52-e005-4445-ba0b-16986f0f16be] over PSDirect. Guest Login: [porcs\veeamadmin].;Failed to invoke func [Connect]: Unknown error 0x80131500. Unknown error 0x80131500. Failed to execute PowerShell command: The credential is invalid.;COM error: Code: 0x80131500; any idea what is the problem ?
Can the Virtual server achieve System state backup? If so, is there relevant documentation and Veeam certification and actual operation? Physical server Installed Veeam Agent for Microsoft Windows, But company policy blocked the USB drive that can't use Bare metal recovery media. Can the Physical server achieve System state backup? If so, is there relevant documentation and Veeam certification and actual operation? When I used the server HDD from 2 months ago and put it on the existing server to test startup, the server name from 2 months ago can be recognized in the Veeam console, and the related file recovery can be restored without affecting it. Existing server backup job. Then shut down the server, put back the original server HDD, and restart. In the Veeam console, the backup can be successfully performed without the need to create a new Backup job.
In theory could I use Veeam bu&r to completely rebuild my datacenter environment (VMware) on new esxi hosts? I have been tasked to build 2 identical rigs with the same SSO, domain name, IPs etc on seperate vSan ready nodes. Rather than do this twice I wondered if it possible to mirror the build using Veeam. I’ve picked up the limitation with vGPU enabled desktops. Are there any more gotchas that I need to worry about??? If the new esxi hosts had the same fqdn/ip would Veeam throw a wobbly and no it’s a new target environment?
I’ve had a problem with a Windows 10 workstation waking up from S3 sleep every few minutes all night long.I tracked the problem to Veeam-created waketimers, created repeatedly by the Veeam.Archiver.Service and the Veeam.Archiver.Proxy.Service. Stopping those services stops the waketimers, and the system returns to normal sane behaviour. These services run under Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 and Veeam Backup Proxy for Microsoft 365. Even when I have scheduled backups turned off at the server console, this keeps happening. Note, I do WANT the system to wake for backups -- once a night, every night. But that's all.So it appears those services are creating those timers, but I see no Veeam-supported way to stop it or make them behave sanely. Stopping backups at the console does not seem to affect these timers. Now, I did install Veeam Agent for Windows 6.0.2.1090 -- Workstation Edition as well as backup for Microsoft 365 on that workstation, using a local swapped hard drive, before inst
Im trying to do a file level recovery on an agent client and because the VBR server is so busy my console is timing out before i can get to the screen where I can browse/select the file i need to recover. Is there a way to change the timeout behavior?
I can't see why the replication process can't see the existing seed source. I included in attachment to this ticket screenshots of settings and cloud inventory information that I expect should satisfy the job requirements.

Hey Everyone... With the recent announcement of Broadcom changing their offered portfolio... As of today Feb 12, 2024, VMware vSphere Hypervisor (free edition) is no longer available on the VMware website.Along with the termination of perpetual licensing, Broadcom has also decided to discontinue the Free ESXi Hypervisor, marking it as EOGA (End of General Availability).Regrettably, there is currently no substitute product offered. For more information, you can check out the official KB article. https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/2107518?lang=en_US
We have recently encountered a scenario in which backup data hosted on a Cloud repository was lost due to technical issue. We were not made aware of the situation until a recovery request. We would like to see additional conditional based monitoring implemented in Veeam One for backup repositories to better detect significant drops in storage utilization. I have submitted a feature request in the R&D forums, but I am wondering what is being done in the community to monitor this kind of behavior for cloud repositories. Thanks,Paul R
By default when you create an Azure Blob Storage repository inside of VEEAM you are only required to enter the Blob Storage account name and key.Somehow VEEAM knows how to connect to Azure Blob and I assume it then relates to the actual Blob Account’s URL eg. https://myblobaccount.blob.core.windows.net/We have multiple sites and have set up multiple Azure Blob accounts (1 for each site)We also have a distributed firewall system whereby each site has its own set of firewall rulesTo date we have been setting firewall allow rules to allow VEEAM to access AZURE Blob storage site-by-site meaning X sites == X firewall rulesWe are trying to move to a single wildcard-based rule which can be applied in a consistent manner to all edge firewalls however in our testing we were unable to get this to work.Using MS Azure Custom Domain for access blob data (see excerpt at bottom of this post) we created a cname like below:myblobaccount.myinternalstorage.mycompanydomain.com CNAME myblobaccount.blob.
I need to know how could enforce VBR to delete the old backup chain as mentioned in the retention policy, our scenario can be summarized as follows:we activate a full backup every Thursday and get incremental backup from Friday till Wednesday, we need to enforce Veeam once get a new version of full backup delete all old backup chains, and keep only the last full backup file. Any help on this!
Hey everyone,I posted a while ago that my V12 install is only reading 107gb of my 12tb tapes, I have 29 tapes loaded and 2 drives I have worked with support on both my Tape drive manufacturer side (Spectra Logic) and I have worked with VEEAM support on this for nearly 3 months and it seems that we have all come to the conclusion fo microsoft not seeing the correct driver. I use the IBM driver as VEEAM specified and it fails to see the tapes fully, I use the “Microsoft Medium Changer” driver Spectra told me to use and it still fails to see everything - we have done all sorts of troubleshooting (removed the ISCSI checkbox, installed and uninstalled drivers, disabled the device, uninstalled the device, updated VEEAM, updated Windows) and so so much more. Looking for any other advice on what else to try or where to turn from here? Windows 2022 (latest updates applied)VEEAM V12 (Frist update applied, not 12.1)IBM drivers installedWindows medium changer driver installedLTO8 Tapes Thanks gu
Hi all,One of my customer has following requirements.customer plan to replicate from dc to dr. after replication from dc to dc customer wants to failover the replication job. customer failover the replication job and at this time the Veeam backup and replication server is goes down. in this case how can customer failback the replication job?what will be the solution in this case? how can we plan to overcome this? thank you
I’m trying to upgrade our VBR to v12.1 but keep getting the message that I should upgrade my Backup Enterprise Manager. I have removed this server from our EM but still the Configuration Check insists that I upgrade the EM first. I have read somewhere that a special MS SQL script should be run in order to be able to successfully remove a VBR server from EM. And the only way to get this script is to open a support ticket. Let me know if I need to do this or if somebody has found a way to work around this.Thanks.
I'm experiencing problems with M365 backups, where the speed is around 14-16MB/s when only backing up mailboxes. The bottleneck seems to be the source, according to the job analysis. Is it normal to have this throughput when backing up mailboxes from M365? Can disabling EWS and PowerShell throttling improve the speed in this situation? What speeds are others achieving in this regard?

VMware has announced that vSphere Hypervisor (free edition) will no longer be available on February 14, 2024. Any comments on this?😉Refer to this KB for details, End Of General Availability of the Free vSphere Hypervisor (ESXi 7.x and 8.x) (2107518)
I have a new installation of Veeam Backup & Recovery and I’m trying to add an Azure Stack cluster. I’ve tried adding it as a Hyper-V virtual infrastructure but this fails with a very generic permissions type error / node is not a cluster error. The account I’m using has domain admin permissions.I’ve been unable to find any documentation on how this should work. Has anyone experience of this? Andrew
