Veeam Agent for Microsoft Windows saving restore logs error

Dear All,Our Veeam backup version is 12.0.0.1420 P23230718 and Veeam Agent version is 6.0.2. we want to  veeam bare metal recovery but see the error “Saving restore logs Error: Error in the application”, please advise and thank you

Failed to connect .The network path was not found(ERROR_BAD_NETPATH)

Veeam Backup & Replication 12, I have already installed the Server,and I have one old Filesystem and one new Filesystem,I can add the old one to protection group, but the new one Failed.The network environment is same for both FS.And there seem like no problem when I Ping them.What can I do next to find out the problem?

Recovery Media Issue

Hello,I'm using Veeam 11 community edition.  I'm having trouble booting from the recovery media.  First of all the "Press any key to boot from CD or DVD" is displayed in German.  When I do press a key the system hangs at a screen with the blue 4 pane window image, a MS Windows image.  I also noticed I don't get the option to include drivers when building the image. Please let me know if you have any ideas.Thank you,Frank

WOW! Accepted for the sixth year in a row. #VeeamVanguard Veeam Vanguard 2023 I was a part of the Veeam Vanguard program for the past five years in 2018-2022, with the hopes of another renewal for the 2023 year. Applications opened up for the 2023 year, and this time, it was all based on your application, whereas in previous years, you could have others nominate you. I have remained active with the Veeam space promoting the product, blogging, Twitter, Paper.li E-Newspaper, and even wrote a third edition of my book for Packt Publishing - Mastering Veeam Backup & Replication v12So I filled out the application with examples of all my activities throughout the year in the hopes I would be accepted. After applying, waiting is hard for that email to indicate whether you are in or out.So based on my post as you can imagine, I was accepted for a sixth year into one of the best evangelist programs out there - Veeam Vanguard. remove backup repository

Hello all,I have really small environment(manufacture) with 2x virtual server on HyperV where HPE autoloader is connected over switch. This autoloader is used as backup destination of course. After installation of Backup Server on one of the servers(this server has also other role), Veaam discovered share and automatically added as Backup Repository. This share has different purpose, not for Veaam. Because is the only repository I'm not able to remove it from Veaam. Any hint?

I did a research for consistent PostgreSQL backups with Kasten K10 and found:https://docs.kasten.io/latest/kanister/postgresql/install_app_cons.htmlApplication Consistent PostgreSQL BackupYou described there to use a Kanister pre-hook (“pg_start_backup”) and post-hook (“pg_stop_backup”). Afaik, that alone will not create a consistent backup. You also need any generated archived WAL file between. Archiving must be enabled (archive_mode=on), archived WAL files must be backuped too, therefore. I did not find anything about how to backup archived WAL files. How will you handle them? Thanks, Markus​​​

VEEAM Ent Manager and vCenter Certificate

Hello,I'm facing a challenging situation with our Veeam server and vCenter, and I'm seeking assistance to resolve this issue. Here's the scenario:Our Veeam server is not part of our domain.Our domain computers are signed with our Domain Controller (DC) as their root certificate.The vCenter is  not part of the domain.However, the vCenter certificate is assigned by our DC, which acts as the root certificate authority.The primary issue arises when attempting to update the vCenter. I encounter an error, and I've attached a screenshot for reference.Furthermore, it's worth noting that our Veeam server is also not a member of the domain. We are utilizing Veeam Enterprise Manager.I am seeking guidance on how to resolve this matter. What steps or configurations should I consider to ensure a smooth update process for our vCenter and resolve the certificate-related errors?Any help or insights would be greatly appreciated. Unable to delete credentials because they are currently in use

I cannot find it. It may be very old or a ghost one.  What is the easy way to figure out the “in using an object” from the VBR Management console or PowerShell? Or is there any way to force delete the credentils?

Out of space on Immutable repo? chattr?

Hi Folks, I have someone who ran out of space on their Linux immutable repo, they are asking to remove immutability on the fs (chatter -i) as root. I am wondering what Veeam DB will think? and what other issues might arise. They seem to say they have done it before then just rescanned the repo?
