For those that use a NAS for backups if you happen to have the Recycle Bin turned on for the NAS share you might want to read this article just out from Veeam on potential issues.

Saw that KB article last night, definitely an unexpected scenario! Also shows despite them all using SMB, no two SMB implementations are ever identical due to the OS’ influence.
