I am trying to locate "Agent Copy Jobs" in the VEM API. But for some reason they do not appear in following calls;https://:9398/api/agents/jobshttps://:9398/api/jobsAny ideas. I need to link them back to the job itself.

Sorry to bother the community again… but today i started to do restore-tests from successfull backups and ran into JetError -582. I cant find anything about this error.What I did:I tried to restore a single item from our scheduled exchange server backup. Everything worked until the database should have been opened. The backup I tried to restore from was the most recent and finished without warnings or errors.  It was an incremental backup. 3 hours before the faulty backup I did a manual incremental backup too (just for testing). Restoring items from this backup was successfull.Is there a possibility to repair the faulty backup / database / missing logfiles?Will all further incremental backups be faulty?Will a full backup solve this problem?Thankes a lot in advance :) 

not sure what the issue is but im using local admin credentials to add these new proxy servers into my backup infra. subsequently when creating new jobs these proxies are not showing up as availble for usage. any ideas?

Now that 12 is out and we can officially get our hands on gMSA it seems the documentation is a bit lacking. My migration to V12 went smooth and EASY! Didn’t even get to finish my lunch before it had completed. I am using gMSA within my environment for other applications so I have familiarity with this functionality. I was able to link the gMSA within the Managed Credentials (like normally), however I don’t see gMSA being an option for linking to a physical agent job within V12. I just see the typical standard account settings. I made sure my physical agents are on version 6 now and also did a rescan of them, which then did another transport update. I then updated the running services to use the gMSA account on the actual veeam services, but again nothing is showing up.  Anyone have any insight to this before I open a case on this?

Hi all, As I am new to this community hub I would like to start with a discussion about the VeeamOne custom reporting. How cool would it be to collect all your favorite reports and send them in one file. Well, it’s possible but I am struggling a bit with the lay-out of the PDF, Excel file and Word file that will be generated by VeeamOne.I was hoping that it would be fixed in v12 but apparently they didn’t manage or maybe even didn’t know about it.So what is happening?By generating a report by custom report builder, the lay-out is much different then how it is supposed to be. Every grapic, every table, summary and overview will be used on one full page. We can not send this output to our clients that contains 40 pages more then nesseccary. I wonder if people are strugling with this issue and if there is a fix available.

Hi, I already create an account for my client and then they should send an email of invitation link to my client email address but my client do not received the invitation link. The next step is create password for the account but I cannot proceed to the next step because my client do not received the invitation link email.I tried to re-register using the same email address but it said the email already been used. There is an option to restore access to your account, I click the option and it asked an email address. I put my client email address, but it said “Failed to send”. Is there anything I can do to login to my client account?

For the second time in two days backup is stuck at 90 or 91 percent. Software is running, but the backup job is stuck in concrete. I restarted veeam, I restarted veeam services and backup server, nothing helped, its stuck. I have two servers to backup. yesterday backup was stuck in win2012r2 exchange server backup; today its the win2016 fileserver. today veeam backuped the data disk successfully, but the system disk not. the exchange server is on the system disk. maybe that info helps. it seems to be a problem with backuping windows (and not data).Case-Nr.05908107

Hello all,This is a weird situation. A couple months ago, we had a production system issue and we used Veeam’s instant recovery to bring a database server back online. Being a small IT shop, once the server was up and available we transitioned to user support and long story short, we never finalized the restore and moved to production. Fast forward a couple of months and we were hit by a ransomware attack and all of our VM files (.vmdk, .vmx etc) have been encrypted. We were able to find a snapshot of our storage that seems to be intact from a few days before the attack, but the actual files in that snapshot for this particular server do not boot, which is what it did to trigger the instant recovery months ago.My question is, where would this VM have been running? Is there a hope of it also being on the snapshot somewhere? We do not have a well-versed Veeam person on staff, our entire IT department has been here a maximum of 4 years and none of us were involved in the deployment of thi

Hello everyone,If we are going to use Veeam to backup VDI and RDSH on vSAN cluster, what are the recommendations for RDSH and VDI (Full, linked, instant) clones backup? I think backup linked and instant clones doesn’t make sense, we can backup gold images, full clones, users profiles. I appreciate your feedback and if there is validated design document for this solution to be shared.

Hi all.We are looking to utilize azure PostgreSQL PaaS for the config DB for Veeam V12 but need to know if this is supported. Docs show PostgreSQL is supported but doesn't specifically say if we can use PaaS. 

Hi guys,a reminder for Service Providers like me who have VBO365 installation on the same VCC server: after upgrading to V12 it is necessary to reinstall Veeam Exlporers for Exchange, Sharepoint and Teams compatible with the installed version of VBO365.To do this:1) Open a cmd with administrative permissions2) Pull up the list of installed programs with the command "wmic product list brief > C:\temp\installed.txt"3) Uninstall the desired explorer with the command "msiexec /x {ProductCode}"4) Once the three programs have been uninstalled, you can proceed with reinstalling the old Explorers. You can find the executables by mounting the ISO of your version of VBO365 inside the "Explorers" folder. Enjoy! 💚

Consistently getting “VSS: Backup job failed. Cannot notify writers about the ‘BACKUP FINISH’ event. A VSS critical writer has failed. Writer name: [Microsoft Exchange Writer]. A client of ours wants to move away from using AWS S3 as a secondary backup and asked if it was possible to host their own in one of their international offices ? They effectively want to be their own cloud backup provider, has anyone done this or can suggest software that can be used etc..  

Hello, I’m trying to set up an external repository in CE12.  I was able to create the container ‘backups’ and I can see it when I go through the repository wizard in Veeam BUT the wizard requires a folder as well as a container.  For the life of me I can’t figure out how to create a folder in the container.  Any help?
