Hi ALL,I am running VBR11 and VBAz 4.0, recently all my AzureVM backup started failing. I still have over 3months of license validity.I can no longer connect to the VBA from my VBR console only can access from the browser.We are getting the following error; "Client secret has expired. Use a valid client secret or renew the application on the Service Account Type tab.This was done however the issue still persists.My Infra is still running older systems so upgrade was not an option hence no support available.Any thoughts?

Is there a way to change the temp location that Veeam B&R uses for the console?  We have a script that cleans out the C:\Windows\TEMP directory nightly and when it does, we can no longer launch the VB&R console.  I get an error “Access to the path ‘C:\Windows\TEMP\Veeam\$VeeamUpdates’ is denied”If I create C:\Windows\TEMP\VEEAM I can launch the console. The script is from our management software and I am not sure if changing the system variable will make a difference.  That is why I am asking if there is a way to change it in VB&R itself.Thanks

Hi, we have applied the available security patches and upgraded our Veeam backup Azure version 6 to 7 Yesterday. Since then, we are unable to go to the url that the FLR creates for any of our restore requests using Veeam appliance portal. We have not made any change in Azure or in Veeam side except applying these updates. We have checked and all permission for service accounts are fine, the NSG in Azure clearly shows allowing port 443 for the worker instances vnet /subnet so we cant really think of anything else that could cause this issue. We have raised a support case with Veeam as well and they have asked us to try the worker IP address to browse to the URL that we also tried without any luck: Any advice would be highly appreciated. I have got the following error for  4 different VMs  server’s backup jobs . this is happening for thre consecutive day now6/15/2023 11:34:55 PM :: Task failed. Failed to expand object RDS09. Error: The RPC server is unavailable. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x800706BA)   any solution , suggestion? I really appreciate your help and Thanks in advance.

I need to restore a VM to a vApp in VMware Cloud Director.  The Veeam docs say to “Launch VMware Cloud Director Entire VM Restore Wizard”. When I right click on the Backup that I need to restore, “Restore entire VM >” does not appear in the Context menu as it shows in the Veeam docs.I see “Restore entire VM to Nutanix AHV...”, but not the “Restore entire VM >” as shown in the Veeam docs.I am using Veeam 12.1.1.56 Community Edition, in case that matters.Any help is much appreciated.

Hello,I will use tape for veeam backup in next year, and i also have policy to moving out old backup more than 3 month to other location. With this scenario, should i make media pool for each months?Example create:media pool for January with 2 cartridges media pool for Feb with 2 cartridges, etc?

Need to release space from disk and copy all Veeam jobs to tape. We can then delete all jobs from disk and extend the space. What process can we use in Veeam so that all jobs are in tape and jobs can be deleted from disk.

I just did a basic setup of AWS backups in Veeam Backup and Rep.  As far as I can see, it’s basically just creating snapshots in AWS, which is almost useless because that isn’t a real backup.We want the AWS backups stored in our on-prem repository, just as our vSphere backups are.  How do we do get it store the backups in our on-prem repository rather than in AWS?

Few months ago I have installed Veeam 12.0 community edition in my PC. Later now few days before I received an update notification for 12.1. After downloading the ISO file and trying to open the setup.exe I got the error “Unable to access the disk: access denied” like that. So I decided to uninstall the current veeam and then go for a fresh install. At that time it didnt let me to uninstall even. So I manually deleted all the folders and registry entries entirely from the system except these keys which are in the picture right now. Whatever I do these entries are never going off.  

Edition = latest edition of Veeam Community Edition -I successfully right-mouse click the menu area and enabled Home so that Backup Jobs are visible in Community Edition.-I then successfully created a backup job using local administrator as Veeam Community Edition will only run the backup job with local administrator not any other local user with administrator permissions.-I then successfully completed a backup.-Initially, I was using Backup1 as the backup repository. I then went on to use another backup repository of Backup2. I have completed backups using Backup2 and want to remove the backup repository of Backup1. It shows Backup1 as unavailable which is correct. When I right-mouse click to remove Backup1, it says: “Backup1 is used for configuration backup. Open configuration backup settings and choose another backup repository first.”I do not see any menu option or area that defines Configuration Backup Settings. W

I have a problem with starting the service The power supply cuts more than two hours after the power goes back on, the server starts working. Then the date of taking the backup is not taken and when the connection veeam work appears "failed to connect to veeam backup & replication server" After this start veeam services & start SQL serves are done manually after this is done naturally. please help.thanks regard

Hello. I create backup job with RMAN plugin. When I started backup it is running normal and taking backup. I also selected in configuration to delete archive logs after completing backup. Backup completed successfully but not delete archive logs from DB. Can you please help me to solve this problem ? Thanks in advance
