Running Linux Mint Mate 20.3. Successful weekly backups for several years. Today forgot to connect b/u medium when starting veeam, got “warning” message in the “success” column. Tried exiting and restarting backup with medium connected, got another warning message.
Not sure what to do next.
OP here- after all the detective work, head scratching, etc- it’s looking like the problem was a faulty (incomplete) file download by Firefox, which has been somewhat problematical over the last several months, and since updating to v. 133 performance and accuracy have worsened. Apparently the dependencies missed the bus. Heard from at least one member on the Mint Forum who just did a successful Veeam install, don’t know which browser he used to get the file. Was able to purge any trace of Veeam from the Synaptic Program Manager AFSAIK and will start over from square one with a new file download using a different browser.
