Dear Expert,

 

Greetings! I have configured a lot of VAW server few of them server reset the port

I checked this issue with the network security team and found that the traffic passed the firewalls, but there was a reset ports from the server side. Please put your feedback on this.

Did you check the firewall on the server in Windows?  There could be a conflict or the port needs opening.  The help document is great for listing the required ports.


Have you checked the Guest O/S has sufficient free resources when the job is running?


I’m with Chris on this...could need to add rules to the Windows Defender Firewall for Inbound/Outbound.

Also, make sure you have exceptions/exclusions for your Anitivirus: https://www.veeam.com/kb1999

yes, i checked the required ports are open from the firewall upon generating the traffic agent machine resetting the ports.

yes, sufficient resources are available while running the backup job.
