I like to use flashcards for memorization. I use Anki as it is free and can be installed on laptops and phones. https://apps.ankiweb.net/ I generally create my questions/answers on my laptop and then use the flashcards whenever I get free moment on my phone.   

Hi I’m using Veeam community edition 11. I have 2 physical machines that are only on a few times a week, never on Saturday when the synthetic backup takes place. I have retention set to 7 days. Will these devices ever do a full back and the older restore points be removed ?

Pls share what you like most about Veeam backup software.

Not long ago we setup a single node test Kubernetes cluster on our laptop using Minikube.Now let’s install the next generation of backup technology! Kasten.Kasten means box or container in German just in case you were wondering about the funny name :)We have already installed Chocolatey on our Windows laptop so we can go ahead and use it to install Helm. Helm is like a Linux software package manager but for Kubernetes: choco install Kubernetes-helm We will now use Helm to install the Kasten Helm Chart. The latest Veeam Cumulative Patch, modified today it appears, now has supportability for CDP in vSphere 7U2. You can view the release notes for the patch here.

Update: Patch 20210525 brings CDP support for 7.0 U2The long-awaited patch for Veeam Backup&Replication v11, which brings support for vSphere 7.0 U2, has been released.https://www.veeam.com/kb4126It's important to note that CDP won't work with 7.0 U2 as there's a driver signing issue. So if you're working with Veeam CDP then you still should wait before updating.Added VMware vSphere 7.0 U2 support including new vSphere API version awareness and virtual hardware version 19 compatibility. I’m using Veeam Backup for Office 365.Our data needs to be retained forever.My problem is that we have limited fast storage options (NAS that can read/write at high speeds). We have virtually unlimited slower storage options.I am currently using the fast storage for the repository. It is filling up fast, and in less than a year it will be full.I don’t need 10 years of emails and such to be quickly restored. I would like to move anything over 6 months old to a repository on a different, slower NAS.I’m trying to understand offloading to object storage repositories, but not sure this is the correct solution. Any direction would be greatly appreciated.

Good afternoon,I am with V10 version With Enterprise manager I try to hide jobs and vm depending on user.ExampleUser1 : could see Job1 and vm Vm1 and vm 2User2: could see Job2 and vm Vm3  We have two roles : Portal administrator and portal user. With the role portal user, I filtered the vm for each user. It works fine the User1 sees vm1 and vm2 and User2 sees VM3.But the two users see job1 and job2. My question is how do we filter the jobs by users as we can do with vm? Regards

Recently I’ve been testing and used Kasten K10 by Veeam. The container data management tool from Kasten.
