Not really a dark mode fan! I tested the suggestion from @Chris.Childerhose and it works great before I removed the extension again.

Hi @khaled depas, Just like @JMeixner and @regnor have suggested, the “i/o device error” is usually associated with inaccessible drives.  Kindly troubleshoot further as suggested by @mkevenaar

Using B&R 11 to backup Physical Workstations Windows 10 Pro is installed VEEAM shows Microsoft Windows 11 (Next, 64-bit, Technical Preview) and brings a warning.

Exactly as I wrote it. the Workstation was not upgraded to Windows 11 and then reset back to Windows 10   Without the upgrade you don’t need a reset. I heard back from support, Veeam B&R is treating windows 10 22H2 as being seen as Windows 11. Should be fixed with version 12. Absolutely! I am glad you have contacted support on this issue.

Hello @ShawnA, I am not sure I understood this sentence correctly “Windows 11 is blocked from installing in our Network using a GPO and the Workstation was not upgraded to Windows 11 and then reset back to Windows 10”. What do you mean by reset back to Windows 10? Did you try to upgrade? If yes, like @MicoolPaul said, support is going to be in the next release.If the above is not the case and the wrong OS was detected, kindly contact Veeam Support!

@PValsecchi this is a great discussion of this feature! The VeeaMover has a lot of great use cases!  This is one of my favorite features in V12. I just finished writing about this feature in chapter 3 of my book too along with use cases. 😎 Looking forward to a copy again. This time, a hard copy :-)
