I am able to see the secondary cluster in the dashboard but it is getting an error and not showing any detailed information. I am using token authentication and followed the steps for enabling access via the account settings.
Hi Folks, I have someone who ran out of space on their Linux immutable repo, they are asking to remove immutability on the fs (chatter -i) as root. I am wondering what Veeam DB will think? and what other issues might arise. They seem to say they have done it before then just rescanned the repo?

hello,I’m a little bit confused about application aware processing on veeam, what is it for actually ?, for example, if I have database (MS.SQL) on my source backup, do I have to enable AAP on it , so I can also backup & restore that database. or do I have to install plug-in on source backup ? Hi, we have installed on windows 10 and 11 clients veeam agent free version 6.1.0.349, to backup to a QNAP NAS.We are unable to run the copies saying that "Backup target is not accessible. The user or password is incorrect. If I go to run edit the job and then launch it seems to work.But if I launch it again it doesn't go. I also set "When Backup target is connected" , but nothing.How can I solve it.ThanksClaudio
Hello, We have setup Kasten with multi-cluster with 2 OpenShift Cluster. We can backup with a policy from cluster “a” and then export the backup to PV. We can restore on the “b” cluster with a policy “import and restore after import” from the PV. The same PV is available on the two cluster. The PV is mounted with nfs. It’s work good, we can backup and restore our namespace. It this possible do backup with a policy and export and restore with import on the same cluster ? Or is this only avaible between two cluster ?Thanks

We are migrating some of our VMs to Azure (AVS) using vmware HCX. Hi,From a backup I want to try and restore a file. We go through the process in Veeam to browse and restore files but when the file browser pop up window appears it never displays any files from the AWS instance. I left it for a long time and it’s not go that much on the instance. Any idea why this doesn’t work?As an aside, we also can’t restore any instances either so wondered if anyone would know of a paid service we are able to use to help check Veeam is set up for our AWS account correctly. I see snapshots but not much use without being able to restore them.Many thanks,Bob
Hello, I recently installed B&R 12 Community Edition to backup a large file server to tape (about 36TB in one server).The disk backup is done to a QNAP NAS connected via iSCSI to the HyperV Server that hosts the VM (needed to use iSCSI as the QNAP NAS does not support files larger than 16TB).The backup to disk results in a 32TB VBK file. The tape drive is connected to another server running the Veeam Installation.Running a Backup to Tape job on the (VSS snapshotted) backup folder however behaves weirdly: right now after 48 hours the job progress is 99% with 88,9 TB of 88,9 TB transferred to tape but that number keeps on growing to 89 TB of 89 TB and so on. Yesterday it was at 99% with 50 TB of 50 TB transferred.The iSCSI target hosting the backup only has 50 TB in total disk space so reading 88 TB from that drive is rather unlikely.The job states "Continuing task for <VBK-File>" and the task.<Hostname>.performer_1.log gives me the line after the last tape swap on the au

I'm using Veeam Community version 12.1.1.56 and since I updated to this version, my "file share" backups have been experiencing issues.I have two backup jobs of this type.The problem I'm going to report only occurs when I activate the option "Configure secondary destinations for this job" within "Backup Repository" in the job properties.If I create a backup job now, it will execute the task normally. However, on the following days, Veeam starts to encounter problems. Hello Under hyper-v environment , I’m trying to backup VMs with an other account than the “administrator” one. Hi Team, My customer has a setup for StoreOnce (3660 with Firmware 4.3.7) and Veeam (12) configured with Veeam Standard license.Scenario 1:Customer tried to take a VM backup to one of a catalyst store which failed due to licensing issue in the logs. However, I did not get any documentation mentioning Veeam standard edition doesn’t support catalyst stores. As per Catalyst store configuration I double checked and its as per HPE standards.Error: “Backup to HPE StoreOnce Catalyst requires valid enterprise edition of Veeam Backup and replication.” Scenario 2:Customer tried to back up the same test VM on StoreOnce NAS share and that passed successfully. Resolution:Could you share me any documentation which says the Veeam standard edition does not support StoreOnce catalyst store? Are there any changes in Veeam that needs to be done to support the above Below are the backup logs captured?
