Spontaneous this looks like a permission problem.

what can i do please. i’m a newbie

Hello @amakad
Do you use a VCenter or standalone ESXi ?

You need Root permissions. If vCenter is used you can either grant the Administrator role to the account or configure granular vCenter Server permissions for certain Veeam Backup & Replication operations in the VMware vSphere environment.

https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backup/permissions/installation.html?ver=110

After have you deployed some proxies sources side and remote side?
If Veeam B&R and proxies are in a dedicated network, dont forget to open ports between the composants.

Hi,

i use a Vcenter in my production site and standalone ESXI in my replication site. I didn’t deploy proxies

OK, I presume you Veeam B&R is physical ?
I ll recommend to deploy one virtual proxy on the production side and another in the Disaster Recovery side, like this you could use the Hotadd mode to transfer the datas (https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backup/vsphere/virtual_appliance.html?ver=110).
Otherwise your Veeam B&R will be used to transfer the data by using the nbd mode, this mode has low data transfer speed over LAN. https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backup/vsphere/network_mode.html?ver=110

Have you check the network prerequisites ?

My Veeam B&R is virtual. And sorry, i made a mistake. I don’t check the network prerequisites.

What are they ? please

You have to check this ports between your differents components. You VBR server will act as Proxy.
