Veeam Encryption (What) is the key ?

I use encryption currently, and thus far no issues, so long as you're using the same VBR with restores. In the event you have to recover on a new server, pwds must be known.Good article @marco_s

Hi @Godfrey matshai -Welcome to the Community. You should really create a new post with the question you have to get more visibility for assistance. Share as much details as you can. Are you using VBR? What kind of job is erroring out? Also, look at logs in:C:\ProgramData\Veeam\Backup\<job-name>\###-Job.log file to see if there are any clues there.

Veeam Recovery Media ISO bug

Hi @redscreen - do you still have questions? I gave you a workaround suggesting to create recovery media on a different machine (like a VM) and it seemed to work. But, it would also be good to submit something to support within the Agent Control Panel so they can verify the bug you seemed to have found.Do you have any other questions? How to Backup Server from Hetzner via VBR

Hello @NemanjaJanicic How is the type for connectivity between VBR and Hetzner server? is it VPN? It should be VPN connection They are communicating with Public IP addresses, no VPN included. Does it need’s a VPN so that it can talk to the private ip address of VBR or I think it either needs VPN or NAT’d from the Public IP to be able to see VBR..yes.

Hi @SusantPoudel -if you removed VMs from the Host or vCenter Server inventory then re-add them to Inventory, there is nothing you can do about the VM RefID for Veeam in a supported way. As Chris shared, Veeam will create a new Full then start a backup chain from it as normal.If you wanted to try to modify moRefs in your Veeam database, you can attempt to. I found this Forum post where a member posted the steps:https://forums.veeam.com/vmware-vsphere-f24/manually-updating-moref-ids-t61851.htmlBut keep in mind...it isn’t officially supported.

Did you attempt the process I shared?The -d parameter after the xfs_grow cmd specifies the data should be grown to all the space available to the filesystem (see here).

Hi @william.berhorst -Interestingly enough, though I’ve resized a few Volumes using the process I posted, I then recently had a SAN Volume in which I experienced the same issue. When running the lsblk cmd, I see the increased space for my Volume, and running the next cmds worked, as you stated were able to do, but the filesystem wouldn’t grow.What I had to do was delete the partition using the parted cmd. When researching online how to resolve this issue, I read time and again you don’t lose data when deleting a partition, but you SHOULD have a Volume/data recovery plan just in case! Then re-add the partition using parted, then attempt to increase the filesystem using the xfs_grow cmd. I didn’t find out in my research why this issue happens...still perplexes me. But, I was able to resolve it.First, before modifying the Volume, unmount it if it isn’t already. Then run:sudo parted /dev/mapper/<volume-name>print (view your Volume partition)rm 1 (assuming your Volume is using just a
