I did do a class years ago… 2019… before VeeamOn in Miami… but just never did the exam. Do you think that counts? This would not count...no...because you didn't take the exam to get certified. If you did get certified and have kept up your cert since then, you'd be good. So, you'll need to redo the Course to be certified by Veeam.

Hi @asdffdsa6132 -Yes, but you need a VIRTUAL network set up for the virtual appliance. Not the physical host network.
Hi @asdffdsa6132 -It appears you're needing to choose a proper network on the virtual host for the helper appliance to use to connect to the network with. This virtual host seems to not have a network set up thus the ok button is not enabled.
Hi @M.Mamdouh -Is KB5005102 installed? I believe it's an 'out of band' update to where you have to download it manually from the Catalog.And, if you do have it, have you looked at all the other suggestions I provided above? You also should make sure UAC is disabled and verify Windows firewall is off, or proper rules set.Let us know.

The author of the below post shared what worked for him (DECOM security issue with Windows 2022, if you’re using that). You can go through the handful of suggestions there and see if any work for you:
Hi @miriam1989 -You use this feature for Backup Jobs. It is best to use for Jobs which contain highly transactional VMs such as DBs because Veeam first snaps the VMs which run on a given datastore, which will then snap the datastore, to back up a Job's VMs. The advantage of this is the Snapshot taken is real quick vs the Snapshot taken using another backup methods (hotadd or directsan) can be retained a bit long. Another advantage of using BFSS is the ability to use Veeam to orchestrate your SAN snapshots and even replicate them to a partner array. This helps you achieve the 3-2-1-1-0 rule. One disadvantage of using BFSS is sometimes the initial processing phase of the job can take 3-5mins before backups of the VMs begin. I do use this feature myself, and have for several years. I use Nimble storage, now called Alletra, as my backend storage for this. Hope this helps.
Hi @M.Mamdouh 'Welcome to the Community. Have you added your HV servers to the VBR hosts file? Also, make sure when adding, use the LOCALHOST\username format. Sometimes, updating the HV host, rebooting, then reattempting to add works.Try those few things & let us know how it goes.

Hi @waqas.ali -Veeam does have an automatic snapshot removal process for vSphere only called the Snapshot Hunter. You can read more about how it works here. But basically, if a snap has been retained, Veeam will attempt to remove it upon subsequent job runs.For a feature request for what you want, I recommend placing one in the Veeam Forum.

@DanielleMorriss -Compatibility with what, specifically? Since this is a Veeam Community site, I assume you’re wanting to run some kind of Veeam product?
Glad to hear @Stabz . Just know it more than likely will reoccur, but I have found Linux to be not as bad as Windows, & I do not have LVM or Multipathing enabled on any of mine.
