Backup Strategie - 2 NAS + Cloud

Hallo zusamnmen, ich nutze Veeam schon etwas länger und möchte nun wieder einmal eine neue Umgebung aufbauen.Wir haben Veeam B&R, eine QNAP Rackstation, eine Synologys DS723 und WASABI Cloudspeicher. Bei anderen Setups hatte ich immer nur 1 NAS.Dort habe ich es immer über Scale out Repository gemacht. Nun möchte ich es im Endeffekt so haben, das eine NAS als iSCSI angebunden wird und dann eine Kopie in die Cloud und auf die andere Nas (räumlich getrennt) geht.Welche NAS als iSCSI und welche als remote, lasse ich mal offen.Wie würdet ihr das ganze am besten Aufsetzen? Liebe Grüße :)

Reset MFA on Service Provider Console Login

Perhaps the Service Provider section of the R&D Forums is a better place to ask, but I figured I’d check here to see if anyone has an easy button for resetting MFA on an AD login specified by AD group for an Admin in the Service Provider Console. I reloaded my phone and the Duo app didn’t import my 3rd party MFA logins. Fortunately, I have other admin logins I can use.So far what I’ve gotten is that you have to apparently use the REST API (which seems silly to me if that’s the case, feature request coming up…..) because the user only exists in an AD group that was specified for access. While I’m not great with API’s, the the Swagger UI should make things easier. That said, I haven’t yet figured out how to authenticate with Swagger using an account that has MFA enabled. I might be able to get it once I get past that hump. I was hoping that if I disabled the MFA requirements, I could log in and reset MFA from the user access, but it appears to prompt for MFA once enrolled even if

Failed to save Veeam CDP proxy: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it

I’ve been googling and am about to open a support case, but I’m checking here first. I have just built my first linux proxy servers using Ubuntu 22.04 LTS. Super easy, works great. Except I have two more that I’m trying to build as CDP proxy’s. I can setup as regular VMware Proxy’s, but when I attempt to install the CDP Proxy, I get the below errors.Error Failed to save Veeam CDP proxy: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it <IP Address>:6182Error Infrastructure item save failed Error: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it <IP Address>:6182 This is my first time using Linux CDP proxy’s. I did have Windows Proxy’s in place but was having an issue with starting the CDP service on those machines after upgrading to 12.1 and decided to just remove those VM’s because they were 2012 R2 and are being replaced/retired anyway. Hi Folks,If you have a Synology appliance at home and want a quick and easy way to export your Veeam logs for viewing you can setup Log Center in just a few minutes and be done.First we want to install the Log Center package from the Package Manager.Log CenterInstallRun after InstallationPress OpenLog Center is now up and running. Chris: I was always a fan of computers, so I decided once I got to College to take a course in Information Systems. Now, mind you, everything I learned in that 3-year program I did not use when I got out as I am more self-taught, but it is what started my path into the IT realm. I worked with other backup software, but it wasn't until I got a job as a Consultant that I started working with Veeam, and that was the beginning of my journey into Data Protection. How to implement my backup goals - home/personal data?

Hello!I am new here, hope you don't mind my ignorance!!I am looking for some detailed steps/instructions to implement and achieve my data backup goals for a personal/home based setting. I Have quite a few kinds of devices in my home. couple of windows laptops, couple of iPads, couple of iPhones, an android phone, may be a macbook pro in the future. I don't find it practical to connect separate USB external hard disks to each of these devices to back them up. So, what i am thinking to achieve instead is - if all of these devices can connect to a NAS, use one big drive say 6/8 TB and create individual folders to create separate backups of each of the devices, that is the ideal solution i am looking for. I haven't decided yet on what model of NAS do i need. Any recommendations welcome! I am planning to use this NAS device just for backing up my multiple devices in one place. I am not looking for active file sharing among the different devices. Also create a backup of the 6/8 TB NA
