Ok, chiaro.. diciamo che in generale in Veeam puoi utilizzare il virtual lab per testare backup (sureBackup) e repliche (sureReplica).Credo perĆ² che con Cloud Connect non si possa fare, anche se mi hai fatto venire il dubbio..In ogni caso cāĆØ la funzionalitĆ āTest Cloud Failover Planā, anche se a livello network forse non risponde alla tua domanda https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backup/cloud/cloud_failover_plan_test_sp.html?ver=120EDIT: magari sul failover plan possono tornare utili gli script pre-post, andando a cambiare i port group delle VM su rete isolata giĆ presente sugli esxi..da provare! :)

Great article, thanks for sharing it @JMeixnerĀ !I agree with everything, but one point has me wondering: Lack of Point-in-Time Recovery.It is certainly true that, with same RPO, with backups we can go much further back in time, but it is also true that I can get a minimum of "historyā even with replicas:Ā standard replicas: the maximum number of restore points for VM replicas is limited to 28 CDP replicas:Ā the maximum number of long-term restore points per disk is 95.In any case, for me replicas are made to have the most up-to-date data possible, in fact I almost always leave only one restore point in the configurations..let's leave the long term retention to the backups!Ā š

Non credo sia un problema di permessi, ma potrebbe essere un problema di corruzione del backup/file system del synology..Questo comportamento lo fa su tutti i job di backup o solo su quello?In ogni caso per cancellare i backup orfani puoi rimuoverli dalla configurazione e cancellarli a mano lato synology https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backup/vsphere/remove_from_backups.html?ver=120
