VeeamON 2024 - Use Code "COMMUNITY10" for 10% Off!
Redirect errors by ignoring them
I think that is dumpster diving
That would be a (Veeam) green hat 🏹
I just found a real life example on this community: I already reported this user to @Madi.Cristil
That would be shodan
They should be using an hash algorithm and salt
That would be the Repository tab
I think that is PGP and S/MIME
Great write up. I have never even heard of Chocolatey so I had to do a bit of research. This seems like a useful tool in our environment and I will have to test it out! That’s great to hear! Let me know the results, if you want
Port scanning
HTTP response splitting
So at first I thought that using chocolatey was unnecessary, but then considering how often I end up installing Veeam for clients at times….maybe not so unnecessary……this may actually be very helpful and certainly forces me to think a bit outside of the box. Thanks for sharing! You are welcome. There are additional resources available on my blog, including even more automation! If you need any help, reply here or drop me a DM
Cross site scripting
Thank you so much @Rick Vanover, but I cannot give you that banner, @Stephen79 would kill me for sure! Truth be told - the stuff on display in my office I have to have been there for, so there needs to be a story for it. Easy, we could put it on display in October during Veeam 100 🤣
Thank you so much @Rick Vanover, but I cannot give you that banner, @Stephen79 would kill me for sure!
If you are not able to find the logs, you can run the MSI installation like this:msiexec /i d:\Backup\Veeam.Backup365.msi /l*v "c:\vb365.log"Where D: is your mounted ISO and you have disk space on c:\ to store the log file. Run this in an Administrative Command Prompt or Administrative Powershell (right click on Powershell or Command prompt and click on Run as Administrator)
Interesting post, have to try chocolatey… 😎👍🏼 For Veeam stuff it is a game changer to automate but also for many other things too. 😁 I am gonna create blog posts for VBR / VONE etc later here. They are a bit more tricky and less straightforward as choco install veeam-backup-and-replication unfortunately.

Great post, @mkevenaar ! Thank you @Rick Vanover that means a lot!

Goedemorgen, nou waar gaan we beginnen ;-).
