Hey everyone,We've encountered an issue with our immutable backup setup. We've configured our Ubuntu server to shut down after completing the backup, turning it on before initiating the backup process. As a result, the server shuts down at 1 AM every day after finishing its backup routine.However, once a week, we receive the following error message. I've been able to resolve it by deleting the file, but it keeps reappearing. Is there a way we can extend the immutability time to avoid this issue recurring? A problem occurred during setting the immutable flag: repository time shift detected, immutability flag cannot be set. I have what I hope is a simple question. What’s the best practice for the a high availabilty SQL server for the VSPC or Veeam ONE configuration database. I see in https://www.veeam.com/kb2301 how to deploy SQL AOAG for VBR and VEM. I’m not sure if this applies to VSPC or Veeam ONE.

Hello, I have a Veeam server that backs up a Win server 2016 server located at another location. Veeam connects to this VM over a SDWAN connection (Zerotier) This has worked perfectly for years. All of a sudden, a few days ago, it started failing. I uninstalled all components (Veeam Agent) from the server, then redeployed the agent. I can ping the remote server, install the veeam agent, etc on it. But when I run the job, I get an error: “Error: Failed to connect to remote backup service.” Any ideas what could cause this?
I’ve used Veeam Backup & Replication V10 solutino; have File-level-backup jobs, Synthetic full backup, local repo, and use Optimal Data Compression.My issue is, High and Extreme Data Compression does not compress The Backup.my backups took massive sotrage, why is the compression not working?

Hi, We are using Veeam to back up our on Prem HyperV VMs with no problem. This is working like a dream. What we urgently need to do is restore a VM to AWS EC2 that we can RDP onto.Ive tried this but when I start the EC2 instance RDP just doesnt work…. Some backgroundWe have an on-prem domain mydomain.local with two physical host servers that contain around 9 VMsThis onprem set up is also covered by Forticlient VPNIn AWS we have a VPC (for example myVPC) with a public and private subnets. Im able to spin up new EC2 instances into both subnets and connect them to our domain and login with a mydmomain\User for example with no problem. The issue is when restoring a VM to EC2 via Veeam to our public subnet - there is no way I can RDP to it. Ive checked that the security group has RDP 3389 listening but no joy. I cant imagine that Im the only person who has tried to do this???? Does anyone have any advice or walkthrough on this? As it’s really giving me a massive headache! Many than
