As part of our audit findings on Veeam Backup and Replication v11a, is there a report or way I can extract a deleted disk file or backup file in the storage?

Morning @avescasio,

Can you clarify what you mean?

You mention a report or extraction, what is the goal? Have you deleted something and wish to recover it, or do you want a report to confirm something was deleted?

With a bit of clarity I’m sure we can get you an answer.

If I am reading the question right a report is needed to see if or when a file is deleted in a repository.  But as noted by @MicoolPaul we need more information to answer your question.

You got the question right. He is trying to find out if there is a way to find a deleted disk file or backup file in the storage. He is trying to perform an audit.

Veeam Backup & Replication provides logging of performed activities. You may want to see this location: %ProgramData%\Veeam\Backup\Audit . You may want to see this guide: https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backup/em/em_reports_audit.html?ver=110
