Hi @Chris.Childerhose I am planning to schedule my exam in 2 days. Would you pleas help if tge exam is close to VMCA v11 or we have too much difference.I mean on v11 ,it was base on scenario based as in @Rasmus videos and the practice questions on veeam propartner. Now veeam proparner has a practice questions as well for v12,I believe they are similar to v11. Would you please share with us your experience?

Backup the content of S3 buckets is not currently available, I discussed with someone from Veeam Team and this will be a new feature in comping version as per his expectations (v12a)

Hi,it seems this is a permission issue,check the permission on the following 1- VMware/ESXi2- if this is a machine with application-aware,check the user or guest introspection settings.3- check the permission on Target repository.4- check Anti-Virus on the machine and perform antivirus-exclusion.5- check DNS Resoulation as well

So As of now, there is no option for backup Postgres as cluster. can i install Veeam Kinux for Agent or each individual machine, perform full backup for each individual machine on the same backup job , then perform FLR when restoring from any machine. or this suggested solution will not work with Postgres Clustered machines anymore?
@victorwu great article and simple explanation.I did many migration using Veeam backup and restore.We can use the agent managed by client side abd target VBR repository as explained in the great article. Besides that, we can use Veeam agent managed by VBR to take the backup from the protected machines. Then restore to the target infrastructure (VMware in this case). We can migrate Windows and Linux machines, all we have to check is the guest OS if applicable abd supported to install Veeam agent for (Windows, Linux,.. Etc) on it. Here I have additional one question need verify. How can we deal with physical RDM and migrate it. What are the full steps to restore it? And how can we deal with physical RDM pointers to revert to initial state before migrating (make as is migration)? Last thing to be mentioned that VMware vcenter Standalone 6.3 has been released on october 2022. Thanks a lot
@MicoolPaul Thabnk you for your help, this is very good option (network throttling) outside of the permitted window to keep transferring to the target site. Unfortunately, we do not have backup or backup copy job located on the target site to be used as replica seeding. That's why I highly agreed with network throttling option. Really appreciate all the mentioned ideas,those will help a lot @regnor @HunterLAFR @MicoolPaul
@HunterLAFR Thanks a lot for your help, what I have understood from your reply that you stopped backup operations over wan link to save the bandwidth for Replication job to be finished.If I understood Is right, I agree with your solution @HunterLAFR ,but the issue now is the full replication job that run only one time did not finish in the replication allotted window, it will be stopped.So next time the replication job runs, it will start from the beginning since it did not finish. Right?
@regnor Many Thanks for your help and providing the alternative solutions for using replica mapping.I wanted to double check this, the issue if you make backup and restore to remote site, it will be done over wan link as well and we have to wait for restore time on the target environment. So if the machine is huge in size, the will take some time to be restored. The customer does not want to consume the wan link out of the mentioned time (17:00-23.30). So, Right now the only available options according to the customer needs is to let the initial replica (full) to be finished discarding setting the replication window.Right?

Hi All,I have a question about completing replication jobs if the replication windows exceeds. For the initial replication, Veeam will transfer the base full size of the replicated VM. Let's suppose it's a huge size VM and initial replication did not finish in the repli action window.When the next schedule run, will Veeam start transferring from the beginning for the initial full or incremental replica that does not finish, or it will continue from the stopped point abd replication does not take another time and size?
