@Guillermo B before making a strong comment such that you have, make sure you know for sure who Veeam has on its staff. I’ve been involved with Veeam (a customer) for over a decade. I’m fairly confident your comment is pretty inaccurate. They have women in multiple various roles; and have a diverse staff all around the globe.@Mal I think that is a great suggestion. Keep in mind though, these virtual conference are a ‘new’ thing still. But, they will be sticking around in a hybrid sense moving forward. I’m sure Veeam can accommodate this somehow in the future.Cheers.

@Mal ...I saw a setting in my Chrome browser that you can maybe use, at least during sessions running “live”. Toggle the music/note button in the upper right of your Chrome browser, then enable ‘Live Caption’. This enabled closed-captioning during the sessions, it looks likeHope that helps you.Cheers!
Not sure that’s needed @norfaiz . 1. it’s a free course; 2. it’s completely voluntary, which is a foundational stepping stone for those, like myself, pursuing higher level training and/or certification like the VMCE and VMCA. Not sure ‘rewarding’ folks is needed.Cheers.

Hi @JustineP ...at the VeeamON online conference, Tim Smith did a Proxy/Repo sizing session. It tells you exactly what you need to know for sizing those components in your VBR environment. Go here and look for the sizing session on Wed.Cheers!

@JustineP - I don't know of any vendor that does a training+cert exam offering. Sometimes discounts for exams are offered as Nikola shared above. Look for the best training center near you at the VMCE link Nikola shared above.All the best!
I know we’ve had this discussion last year as Vanguards. Not real sure what more could be done for the virtual side. I’m (as you know) really looking forwad to in-person events. I agree with keeping part of it virtual in a hybrid format for those who really cannot attend - due to distance, work obligations, finances, etc. But, since there will be in-person attendance again, I recommend some ‘fee’ for virtual attendees to make it a bit equitable to the in-person attendees. Maybe just have a little lesser content for virtual attendees? Not sure what that’d look like exactly tbh. Also, there was a user who posted on my ‘discussion’ thread in which I shared about sessions being viewable after Day1, who is deaf, and wanted closed-captioning. I did see this capability for live sessions, at least in Chrome; not sure if caption capability is available for the recordings? If not, I do recommend that feature. Also, maybe language-based captioning for those who do not natively speak English? I’m
