For me, it's been hit or miss. I can go a week without issue, or I can have a couple days in a row where I have sporadic occurrences 😕I think overall it's probably been less occurrence though.

Hi @Stabz - as Chris shared...I have this problem on occasion as well. It’s not just on Windows VM Proxies...but Linux as well. This can happen when you have multiple jobs attempting to back up a VM at the same time. For example, I have a CO-side VBR server which takes care of solely Backups. Then I have a DR-side VBR server which takes care of solely Replication jobs. Though I try my darndest not to have jobs on the 2 server overlap, they sometimes do, and this behavior can happen.Other times, I’ve had this happen when jobs haven’t overlapped. This behavior has gone on for years (several)...at least for me.Curious if Support has a resolution to it.

Hi @Katschka -Right off the bat after reading through your post of what you’re wanting to achieve, I can’t see anything standing out as being off-base. The best way to know if your plan will work as desired is to test. You can use “blank” VMs to test with. Obviously, you don’t have to test for the full Yearly amount you want, but just for as long as you notice the behavior being as you anticipate (probably at least a month or 2).I haven’t used some of the other GFS options, such as “Last” to test that behavior, but from my understanding that sounds correct. The User Guide has more detail on it here , and shows a small example.And, I don’t think I follow your second question. You can configure, as you share, 2 as minimum for the amount of Restore Point retentions, and 3 for the minimum amount of Days retention. Can you explain further your question here?
Hi @MavMikeVBR -It appears, as noted in this Forum post , sending logon events to a SIEM isn’t yet feasible. It looks like Veeam is looking to maybe have a feature enhancement in a future release.Hope this helps.

But, at what cost for the error?Then there are intellectual, property, copyright infringements..some of which have already occurred (thus why I brought up my education entity).Yes...very concerning points to ponder.
