I wanted to migrate my Domain Controller VM to my new Hyper-V host so recorded to process for anyone with a similar requirement.

 

 

JB - "You're only as good as your last restore" .. amended with CLEAN & verified restore :)

    Very cool video and demo.  Don’t use Hyper-V but nice to see this in action.

    Nice ‘how-to’ video @jb16wer ! Question there...you have to create the sub-folder beforehand within Hyper-V correct? Or, you’ll get an error I believe during restore? I faintly remember someone posting a question on this issue recently. Thanks for sharing!
