Our goal in the community is to create a more inclusive culture that gives everyone a voice in Technology. To do this, we have created a safe space for women and allies to contribute and be heard on these forums.
We attribute our design to Hedy Lamarr’s frequency-hopping patent diagram, which paved the way for modern WiFi technology. Hedy Lamarr, with no professional engineering training, is a symbol for women and a testament that your background does not denote or limit what you can offer.
Woman & Allies In Technology also practices WAIT “Why Am I Talking” to always be considerate to others and provide constructive conversation.
