Good day team, Trying to create a sub folder under the backup tree in container and i get this error. This blob storage is working Buexec, backups going to it etc. I also cannot move forward as i need a folder name to select.How can i resolve this?

We have a vSAN cluster where the vSAN network is physically separated on different network switches from the management and other VM networks. When configuring Veeam backup proxy for VM backups on vSAN, what interfaces or connectivity is required? What traffic flows over which interface? Is the below understanding correct or we need only one interface on the backup proxy connecting to the ESXi mgmt network? ESXi: vmnic0 - esxi mgmt  (connected to a pairA of network switches)vmnic1 - vsan (connected to pairB of network switches) NIC0 - connectivity to ESXi Mgmt (Connects to ESXi/vCenter for VM and esxi details, mouting the backup VM disk to the proxy VM)NIC1 - connectivity to the vSAN inetwork (data of the VM is fetched through this interface) Thanks,Sudhir

Hi team, We all know about the type of general backups usch as incremental, full, synthetic full, differential etcMy colleague (a veritas user) wants to move forward with Veeam. However, he is not yet conviced, he is asking if veeam can:Perform general Differential backups efficiently and easily in VBR 12.1 with easy steps Perform Differential backups on VHDX/VHD, VMDK files with retention of choiceI welcome any detailed/explanation insight here. I would love to make him a new Veeam user/believer.

I had a problem with our host server in production and I had to activate the replicas on our second backup host, later I applied permanent Failover, after reestablishing the first host that had the problem, I created replica routines from the backup host server to the main one and I applied permanent Failover, finally, I recreated the replication routines from the main server to the backup server, however, it is no longer working, an error keeps appearing that I couldn't find on the community forum. Failed to process replication task Error: Failed to create planned VM configuration (path: 'D:\9ca0c3d4671a45888343cf0b4ef75605(20)\Virtual Machines\545b475e-2040-49fe-bffb-d9133f3739f4.vmcx'). [WMI] Empty result.

Using the cmdlet Get-VBRJob I can get the backup job.  Pipping this to Get-VBRJobObject shows me the objects backed up by this job.Most of the VMs in this backup job exist in folders so all I see are a list of those folders.How do I get the VMs contained in these folder?

Hello, Thanks, Please help!From VBAR, i got a message to update, but after that, i cannot start the console, backups are not happening any more.In addition, VeeamBackupSvc will not start. cannot run backups.I rebooted a few times, re-ran the update, it always completed without error.Note: this is my home server. the console is running local on the VBR server.Not sure exactly how to debug and solve this?   when i try to run the console, i get  From event viewerService

Hi,I am running some tests on a demo installation of Veeam. I have set up a job with retention and immutability of 5 days. The full backup is done on Sunday and the incremental on Monday. on 3 August the chain immutability expired but on Sunday 4 August veeam did not remove the old chain (with expired retention and immutability verified by s3 browser) how come?

I know  veeam support will only knows which logs to review but for knowledge purpose can somone  please share the log files to investigate for each Veeam component like, backup job, replication, restore, surebackup, sobr, cloud backups, proxy server, repository, tape backup etc and if any tool to investigate logs

I’m moving an artesca S3 bucket to another veeam host. The repo is part of a SOBR with a storeonce primary target. Rescan option cant be done directly on the repo but can on the SOBR…..however it seems to fail.  I’m concerned when moving to the new server, we wont see old backups. Thoughts??

Hi ALL,I am running VBR11 and VBAz 4.0, recently all my AzureVM backup started failing. I still have over 3months of license validity.I can no longer connect to the VBA from my VBR console only can access from the browser.We are getting the following error; "Client secret has expired. Use a valid client secret or renew the application on the Service Account Type tab.This was done however the issue still persists.My Infra is still running older systems so upgrade was not an option hence no support available.Any thoughts?

Is there a way to change the temp location that Veeam B&R uses for the console?  We have a script that cleans out the C:\Windows\TEMP directory nightly and when it does, we can no longer launch the VB&R console.  I get an error “Access to the path ‘C:\Windows\TEMP\Veeam\$VeeamUpdates’ is denied”If I create C:\Windows\TEMP\VEEAM I can launch the console. The script is from our management software and I am not sure if changing the system variable will make a difference.  That is why I am asking if there is a way to change it in VB&R itself.Thanks

Hi, we have applied the available security patches and upgraded our Veeam backup Azure version 6 to 7 Yesterday. Since then, we are unable to go to the url that the FLR creates for any of our restore requests using Veeam appliance portal. We have not made any change in Azure or in Veeam side except applying these updates. We have checked and all permission for service accounts are fine, the NSG in Azure clearly shows allowing port 443 for the worker instances vnet /subnet so we cant really think of anything else that could cause this issue. We have raised a support case with Veeam as well and they have asked us to try the worker IP address to browse to the URL that we also tried without any luck: Any advice would be highly appreciated. I have got the following error for  4 different VMs  server’s backup jobs . this is happening for thre consecutive day now6/15/2023 11:34:55 PM :: Task failed. Failed to expand object RDS09. Estou fazendo uma atualização no meu ambiente, e estou atualizando meu veeam 9.5.4 para o veeam 11 que é o que meu hypervisor suporta, tenho uma licença por socket e lendo a documentação encontrei que as licenças até o veeam 10 são bloqueadas por versão e que eu teria que baixar a versão mais atual da licença para conseguir colocar em meu veeam 11, porém quando acesso o portal não encontro essa opção de download, o meu suporte está expirado seria algo relacionado a esse suporte expirado ? ou existe outra forma de fazer este download ? I'm doing an update in my environment, and I'm updating my Veeam 9.5.4 to Veeam 11 which is what my hypervisor supports, I have a socket license and reading the documentation I found that licenses up to Veeam 10 are blocked by version and that I would have to download the most current version of the license to be able to put it on my Veeam 11, but when I access the portal I don't find this download option, my support is expired wou
