Today I will share one hardware refreshment project for casino. Their existing environment is vSAN 6.7 (vSAN Ready Nodes) and Veeam VBR v9, both hardware and software are end of supported. My customer request to migrate the existing VMs into a new platform and prevent ransomware attacks. My competitor proposed other hypervisor and DBackup for this project. And I proposed VxRail Appliance (new generation) and Veeam v12 + Veeam immutable repository. Finally my cusotmer selected my proposed solution, the new features in Veeam v12 can help the customer to offload their daily operation.
