I would like to install Veeam Backup & Replication Community Edition on a Linux operating system instead of Windows.

Could anyone please confirm whether this is supported? If so, kindly share the download link and installation media details.

Thanks

Morning, it is not. You can only run VBR on Linux with a paid VUL license

Hi @K Karthik - do you mean the Veeam Software Appliance? You cannot install Veeam on some form of Linux in isolation. VBR CE appliance is a fully pre-installed application on Rocky Linux. It comes in .iso format, or an OVA file for VMware. Below are the Veeam deployment options:
https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/vbr/userguide/deployment_options.html?ver=13 , and you must have a valid VUL license, as Michael states.

Otherwise, you can install VBR CE on Windows; go to the below link to get the download:

Hi,

Thanks for the update.

Just to confirm — there is no free Community Edition for Linux OS without a license?

For Windows, there is a free Community Edition that works for up to 10 workloads.
For Linux, is there no similar free Community Edition available?

Thank you.
