This is my new project in 2026, my customer selected ZStack as the replacement for VMware. They will continue using Veeam to protect the virtual machines on the ZStack platform. Below is the Veeam Backup work summary.
- Created virtual machines and installed the Veeam Agent.
- Configured backup jobs and performed backup operations for the target virtual machines.
- Simulated a file loss scenario and completed file-level recovery using Veeam.
- Simulated a catastrophic virtual machine failure and performed a full VM recovery test.
- Configured backup jobs with storage-based snapshots
Remark: The environment consists of ZStack Cloud, NetApp storage, and Veeam v13.
