              The correct answer for this question is option C.

               

              In environments without WAN accelerators configured, the "Direct" transfer method is applicable for Backup Copy jobs, which aligns with the described scenario.

               

              Given the specified RPO requirement of 8 hours, the Immediate copy mode (also known as Continuous or Mirroring mode) is not suitable, as it would trigger a copy operation every time the source backup job completes. Instead, by selecting the Periodic copy mode, administrators can define a copy interval that meets the desired RPO, ensuring that the Backup Copy job runs at scheduled intervals and adheres to the data protection policy defined for the environment.

                            Here is the answer to this week’s VTT question:

                            Let’s start by removing 2 options right off the bat → a. and d. Why?...obviously for a. it doesn’t address the 8hr RPO requirement as it states to use a 12hr schedule, and for d. there is no Continuous Mode option for Copy Jobs. This leaves b. and c., but even with these last 2 we can also discount b. because of its suggestion to have a WAN Accelerator. The question states the bandwidth is 1Gb, so there is no need to use a WAN Accelerator. This leaves c. Configure Backup Copy jobs to use “Direct”.  Set interval to every 8 hours as the correct answer.
