Updated - V12.1

The environment described in this architecture are two datacenters and multiple VMs in a cluster with a total average write rate of 1000 MB/s, consuming 300 TB of primary storage. The VMs will be replicated from the primary datacenter to the target cluster in the secondary datacenter through continuous data protection (CDP). A single vCenter will manage the source and target cluster. Each datacenter will contain a CDP proxy installed on a physical server. Networking speed between components in each datacenter is 10 Gbps.

@vmJoe Just looking through the PDF attached here, and I noticed that while it’s the 1000MB/s blueprint, the table for Veeam sizing is for 500MB/s. Is it a case that it’s just double? Or is Veeam Compressing things so that only 500MB/s is needed to support the 1000MB/s at source?

@NZ_BenThomas  the CDP proxy applies compression before it sends the transactions to the target CDP proxy.
