Can you imagine my face when I saw all that mess in the data center?

Honestly, that was exactly the feeling during the incident. Every new detail revealed another hidden risk, from the flooded data center to governance failures and backup exposure.

I’m really glad this real-world experience could bring useful lessons to the community.

Thanks for the mention and your kind words to my project, I’m glad you like it.
It was great to see most of our german/swiss/austria Veeam 100 community in MUC and also some old and new friends there! It was just awesome! We had a great time.
