I have a migration from Veeam on Windows to Veeam on Linux, and I need to make sure there are no problems after the migration

Hi ​@alikhazem - Welcome to the Community.

By migration to Linux, are you referring to migrating to the Veeam Software Appliance (VSA) or other method? Currently, migration from Windows > VSA is not supported officially. Veeam has a process and is currently testing it out.

If this is not what you’re referring to, can you give more details?

The only way to migrate to the appliance is being on the list and working with support.   I am in the process of doing this now but you will need to wait until it is widely available to do.

Yes, my current Veeam Backup & Replication is deployed on a Windows Server, and we need to migrate it to the Veeam Software Appliance (VSA). This is the link from Veeam:https://www.veeam.com/kb4800

Yes but you also need a migration code which is only available through support.

okay, can take a veeam backup configuration from veeam backup and repliacation deployed on windows  and used the file backup to restore on vsa?

Yes if you have the migration code from support only.  Not natively right now.

yes - i just went through this. The process was pretty simple but need to go through support. At this time it’s Veeam controlled. You’ll get to a point where you’ll need an authorization # frmom support to continue

Yeah..you need to reach out to Support to be able to do this.
