Good morning community,

just a quick question regarding the Linux hosts authentication. Regarding Security & Compliance Analyzer, it’s best practice to set this to manually.

Is the only option, to get information about the current acknowledged systems so far, by exporting them, and check the exported file? Is there an option to get these informations from the config-database or from anything else?

Couldn’t find anything int the user guide: Adding Computers to Trusted Hosts List - Veeam Plug-ins for Enterprise Applications

thanks in advance, best regards Markus

I’m not sure anyone here would have an answer to that @Dynamic . Your best bet I think is to ping the Product Managers directly over on the Forums, or contact Veeam Support. Good question though.

Is there a reason you even wanna mess with the Config DB? Or, are you more asking to do some kind of simple export and/or query from the DB to get the info you want & not manipulate it in any way? I don’t know...I always feel even running queries against the DB could get dicey. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Best. 😊

Thanks Shane, i will ask in the R&D or direct reach out to the Support.

I’m with you, i also don’t want to do a query to the db. But i think this information must reside in the db, so the only missing thing should be an option to see it :-)

No problem. Let us know what you find out.

will do, thanks!
Question is aked here: VBR Security Trusted hosts - R&D Forums (veeam.com)
Will mark your first answer as best solution so far.

Ok, thanks. And thanks for sharing the link. Think I wanna keep an eye on that.

I am sure the information is in the DB somewhere to query.  Will be interesting to watch your thread and the response from Veeam.
