Receiving error message “invalid system configuration detected”. Checked the logs under C:\ProgramData\Veeam\Setup\Temp\ but not finding anything. The logs end with Vmacheck upgrade.

Unfortunately this is still an issue. I have also attempted a clean install of 13.0.1 but receive the error “Unable to verify product integrity”. Still troubleshooting.

Hi @jdf192,

How exactly did you run the update? There are different way / ISOs for different source versions, please check this:

https://www.veeam.com/kb4696

I suggest reviewing the document, ensuring that all prerequisites are met (e.g. update Enterprise Manager before upgrading VBR), reboot your VBR server (better safe than sorry), then try again.

If that doesn’t help, I suggest opening a Veeam support ticket to let them investigate.

Best regards

Lukas

Actually @jdf192 ..since you’ve looked at the install logs to attempt to see what the issue may be, your best bet really is to get ahold of Veeam Support. They should be able to get you sorted. Keep us posted what they say.

Hey @lukas.k. I used the full ISO to attempt to upgrade. My goal is to upgrade to 13X but Veeam needs to be at least 12.3.2 before you can upgrade. I tried opening a ticket when I tried a clean install of 13X but it was closed with no comments. I was able to reinstall 12.1.1.56 with no issues.

Ok @jdf192 . Keep us posted.

Also, you didn’t specifically mention...but are you using Community Edition (free)? If so, that’s the only reason why your ticket would be closed with no comments by Support.

We have a license but corporate has the account. Didn’t see a way around submitting a ticket besides using a community edition.

Not sure if this will be useful but it’s worth mentioning, I hit the below KB a few times on 12.x updates.

@jdf192  - just following up to see if your issue was resolved and if you received an answer.  If so please update this thread and mark the best answer even if it is the one you post with the update if none of the others were satisfactory.
