hi,  I would like to know, can I keep yearly without monthly on tape with GFS feature ?

That's a perfect fit for the GFS media pool. You have a single media pool which takes care of the retention from daily up to yearly backups.

    Hi @dika. Yes, that’s possible with a GFS media pool. You can disable monthly backups in the media pool settings, but still let it create yearly backups.

    @regnor maybe I would like to create 4 media pool Daily,Weekly,Monthly & Yearly but for yearly I would like to keep tape drive till 10 years and monthly, weekly and daily will be used for every year
