Hey there.

There is VBR server in our organization. Long time ago one of my co-workers performed instant VM recovery, but something goes wrong and now these sessions stucked in the console with failed state and end date 01.01.1900 00:00:00:

PS C:\> Get-VBRSession -Type InstantRecovery | ? Result -eq 'Failed' | select -First 1

Is there any safe way to fix end date or remove sessions from console, or database maybe?

There is no way to fix the date that I am aware of.  You can try restarting the backup service or rebooting but if still stuck then open a support ticket as mucking with the database can cause more problems and they can help you fix it.

I would say that would be something for Veeam Support to help with, especially if there would be a database manipulation of some sort.

Are you saying you have Instant Recovery sessions still going within the Console? If so, can't you just Stop Publishing?

Unfortunately, I can’t. “Stop” button is grayed out in UI, there are no “stop publishing” button:

Powershell also says, that job was stopped and failed:

CreationTime : 01.06.2022 10:43:32
EndTime : 01.01.1900 0:00:00
Result : Failed
State : Stopped

So, i would like to understand, why, if job started in 2022 and “ended” in 1900, it’s displayed in “Last 24 hours”? Funny (not), but annoying :(

This is the reason to contact support. We cannot tell you that and they probably can.

@Aleksej_Egorov -

Yeah...we can only help with so much. We're community members just like you...not Support. Your best bet is to contact them.

You're essentially looking at a log so there wouldn't be a Stop Publish option. The IR job would be in the "Running" area if it was still active.
