Backup to object storage requires a valid enterprise edition license

 

Veeam job has been stopped with failures.
Error: "Provider load failure."
→ Backup Copy Job (Object Storage )

This is rich.kim who loves veeam. 

While using a Veeam permanent license, the error message below suddenly occurred in the object storage of the secondary backup (backup copy). 

This is a perpetual license that I am using without any problems. Why does a license-related message appear? I can't understand.~

Could you please share your license information with us? From the error message and your description, it seems that your license might not include support for backup to object storage. Even if it’s a perpetual license, this feature specifically requires an Enterprise Plus edition.

 

That could be why you’re seeing this issue during the backup copy to object storage. If you’re not sure which edition you have, we can help verify it with the license file.

Hi ​@rich.kim If you are using a standard license, you'll need to upgrade to the Enterprise edition to use object storage for backup copy.

normally you should be able to request license in pulse portal. If not please contact you contact like TAM, or if you don't know, please open support case of section licensing.
