issue with installation veeam agent on windows server 2025

hi,i try to install veeam  agent (i try with multiple version) on windows server 2025 but when 

i get to the point of installation it fails.

on the log i see “ another installation is in progress” but i don’t have nothing in pending.

      Have you tried restarted the server and trying the installer again?

        Do what Tommy said and then try the install again.

          Probably, in Task Manager, you can check a process called msiexec.exe. you can kill it and retry installation.

            Yep..agreed with above. You may have had Windows Updates installing maybe? Hopefully a restart will get you sorted. Let us know.

              As Tommy mentioned, try to reboot the server (perhaps twice in case of Windows Updates) but please make sure to eject any ISO (even the Veeam ISO) after the first reboot to avoid auto-installers firing up after reboot.
